For anyone bashing his poor start this year, anyone remember how Randy Moss looked as a Raider? He doesn't need to come here to put up big numbers, he just needs to be able to put fear into defenses, if they want to continue to sell out with the blitz. I have no doubt that if we were to trade for him, we'd be getting last year's version.

Couple bad drops is really selling it short. He has the lowest true catch rate in the league by a country mile. Like even Dawson Knox, who generally has had the biggest drop issues in the league since getting drafted, has never approached a number in Brian Thomas's vicinity.

Not really character concerns, but there were questions about his physicality and effort. I'll admit I thought he was a bit overrated as a prospect for those reasons. I want my WR1 to have an edge that I just didn't see from him. So I was one that did not want us to trade up for him. After his rookie season I had already decided my pre-draft opinion was horribly embarrassingly wrong, really an all-time bad take by me, but it turns out those concerns were legitimate. Based on what he showed last year I'd still trade for him without hesitation though. Even if it costs next year's 1st. I would rather bet on BTJ to work through his issues than bet on whatever LB or safety we'll inevitably draft next year. Top tier talent is worth the risk and no one ever won a championship playing it safe.

We have Shaq Thomson, who has been our best performing LB this year. We also have Hoect who we can deploy in our big package formation. Can be used similar to Lorenzo.

True somewhat. But the last two playoff exits the D sucked all game, but made stops at the end, giving the Bills a chance to win. But the offense choked both times. So to me, D is overstated. I want an offense that can put together winning drives in the playoffs.

Joe Brady is killing the Bills offense. I can’t wait until he leaves, and when/if we sign an intelligent offensive coordinator who doesn’t design cute plays, but a real pro offense.

While I would certainly send Keon and a 2, I think if the Jags move him they will want either more draft assets or a defensive player instead of a WR that has his own slow start and struggles this year. I would have no problem including a 1st and a player. You are getting size, lengthy, speed, youth, and a rookie contract for 3 1/2 years. Make this trade and make it now. You see I have never been against adding WR talent, where I have pushed back is that "heir to Diggs" has literally not been available in the draft. But BTJ was the closest and we either didn't try to move up or were rebuffed, either way he was not an option to us but always felt like the one we missed on getting. Truthfully, I doubt the Bills could have gotten ahead of the Jags to get in based on the teams ahead of them, who they took, and how strong those teams were in on those players. But I also don't think we tried either given Beanes approach heading into that draft. But none of that matters now, this is a REAL shot at a real WR1 lead replacement for Diggs that we CAN afford without gutting the roster elsewhere. GO GET HIM BEANE and pay the premium price it will likely take to get the Jags to send him to a conference rival. I don't care if its a 1st and a 4th like Diggs, or if it is a 1st and a player like AJE...just make the trade. This makes waayyyyy too much sense for this team right now in a year we are seeing KC revitalize and now on our tail for the 1 seed again after we just blew 2 winnable games with a stagnant offense. Our defense at least has players now coming back that could help boost it - the offense is in the rut it is with healthy players. You gotta make a move, this is the move to make!
