What the Pats did was watch us give the ball away three times and have I think it was 11 penalties and they still barely beat us. The Falcons did indeed watch that, because after seeing it, they watched Allen throw two more INTs and the Bills get 8 penalties for 64 yards accepted. Including that turnover they gave us on the first play that got eliminated by a penalty. This isn't about the Falcons and Pats playing better or us being figured out. It's about us playing more poorly than usual. Could that continue? Sure. My bet is it doesn't, but we'll see.

It's not hindsight if my position has been consistent from the 2024 draft process until now. I was sold on drafting McConkey for about a month prior to the draft.

We have several leftists here who have boasted about their substantial bank. C section comes to mind. Simultaneously these same folks also whine about the rich not paying their fair share in taxes. It's curious to me why these people don't write an extra check to the government each and every year to help out with this problem...

I think there was a Wide Receiver thread that spanned from the combine to the night of the draft. This thread was stuffed with statistics, scouting reports and videos of the top 10 to 12 WRS in that talented draft. The consensus was "don't draft Coleman". People had their favorites but it was near unanimous that Keon couldn't separate, was slow and had only fair hands catching. My memory is, and it was certainly my opinion, that Buffalo should not draft Coleman. That is why presently most posters are so upset, whether it be by Worthy or McConkey.

This team stinks at WR evaluations and commitment. Same with defensive line, though I still think Groot has growth left to realize in his game (i.e., mostly on the consistency side vs anything additional athletically), and, like Kramer, may have fallen ass backwards into money with the Deonte Walker pick.

The are really good players, OMF, and actually great at times. ...but no, I don't think they regret it. They think it would be nice, but I doubt they regret it. I wanted Ladd, badly, regardless of the similarity to other players. ...I wanted DK Metcalf, as well. Neither of these were hindsight.

Same could be said for Pelosi and Hillary on the Dem side of things.

Bills 31 Panthers 21 and it won't be that close. The Bills go up 14-7 at the half with the ball. They cash in on a score in the first possession of the second half and then the Panthers make a turnover and the Bills cash in again and go up 28-7. Panthers go on a long scoring drive to cut it to 28-14 with 5ish minutes left in Q3. The Bills end Q3 grinding out the clock and hitting a field goal to go up 31-14. Bills make a stop early in the 4th and the grind the clock down to about 10 minutes left. Panthers go on a long scoring drive to get the score down to 31-21 but there's only 6 minutes left. Bills get a couple of first downs to eat the Panthers timeouts and take a couple of minutes off the clock. Panthers get the ball back with 3-4 minutes left but no timeouts. Bills defense forces a turnover on downs and the game ends.

He has played in 34 out of 40 games for the Bills in his career: 85 percent of them. I would bet good money that this is par for the course for NFL players 2.5 years into their careers. Almost all of them get nicked up and miss games.

Do teams regret not drafting Shakir earlier every time he has a good game? Or Cook? Or Kincaid? And on. And on. And on. You can play this kind of hindsight game with virtually any player in the league, so I don’t get it myself.

McConkey is a stud, but this chart is meaningless. Roman Wilson is a complete bust to this point, and he charts as elite.
