We have no business winning the division at this point. Absolutely have done NOTHING to earn it.

I think McGovern has been banged up since the KC game personally. He is getting up late a lot after plays. Hopefully this ten days off will help him. -

DD vastly overrated.. SB legit. I’ll agree the Bills give them zero chips or support but perhaps they should for DD -
This is also the best defense in the league. Even if you stop their pass rush, which we came nowhere close to doing, they have two studs at CB too. Combine that with our crappy WRs, turned into a recipe for disaster. If it weren’t for our defense finally showing up in the 2nd half, we wouldn’t have had a shot at the end.

Is watching the Bills fun for you these days?
The Jokeman replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Having watched the Bills since 1987 or so yes. As Dan Marino deserved one too, gotta wonder if we'd won one had drafted him instead of Kelly. Eh probably not as butterfly effect of Kelly going to USFL lead us to be in position to draft. But hey had we drafted Jerry Rice instead of Derrick Burroughs...so many rabbit holes to go down. What if we don't trade up for JP Losman and draft Aaron Rodgers following year.... -
Some of that was Josh holding the ball too long

A Few Thoughts about the Texans Game - Community Edition

Mess is the perfect word. Josh is wasting his time with this group. No rhythm or imagination on the offensive side. Defense is hard to watch. There’s gonna be at least one coordinator on the way out. And I’m wondering if one of Beane/McD goes too. -

It’s just a completely reasonable thought as a fan. The reality is that if it didn’t you would never think about it again but since it did you hold on to it. these types of plays happen all the time. Just look at any game thread as an example -

Unfortunately the AFC was wide open this year.. and the Bills aren’t good enough to take advantage of it 🤷🏻♂️ -
Bills are Fool's Gold: Intentions Versus Results

Thanks for your service. @simon had a good summary. Basically by every metric minus Cook and Bishop this team is worse than last year. The D is abysmal, and the WRs are bad outside of Shakir who on a good team is a 2 or 3. The piss poor coaching and FO bad decisions are finally coming to a head. -
Your doctor would advise you not to subject yourself to that kind of pointless frustration again. 👍

The Bills have the best tackle tandem in the game, though they were poor tonight. I saw some numbers earlier, but the Bills leave their tackles on Islands more than any other team in the league. They trust their tackles to do their jobs and they generally do so, enabling Josh to do his thing. They got eaten alive tonight, but the Bills also rarely gave them too much support

I don’t even know how to comprehend what I saw from this OL. At least Brown was playing hurt. He wasn’t exactly great before the injury, but at least there’s some semblance of an excuse for him. Dawkins shtick isn’t as funny when he’s getting Josh killed can committing false starts every game … including one in the worst possible moment today. -
the defense was practice squad and rookies. Tonight they had their core guys sans rapp, hill and hoecht. The defense can not be this bad missing three starters. It just can't. They got stops later in the game in part because Houston was fine with punting on a few of those 4th and short to midrange because they knew there defense had the game under control. If Houston needed to they could have been more aggressive later in the game, there was no reason to do that however.

Houston had a net of 35 yards in the second half. They scored 3 points after Shakir fumbled deep inside Bills territory. The defense was not to blame tonight just as they were not to blame in the other L’s

This post cheered me up. It's excellent perspective. Heck, if the Bengals can pull of an upset this weekend, we're right back in the mix for the division. -

Playoffs? Yeah. why?q -
I think the interception was his worst throw of the night for sure. He thought the LB was going to cover the flat and got fooled. The 3rd and 1 to Shakir is a set play. Of course he focused on Shakir form the snap, there was no chance the ball was going anywhere else.

Brady ofcourse but it should be McDermott, the right coach will influence the right picks for this offense to flourish. honest question what happened to our line? Injured. -
Ok that’s good to know. Thank you. I didnt see the TV broadcast yet.

Well considering we are 0-5 under McDermott on the road in the playoffs and this is the worst Bills team since his 2nd year, I'd say no one should be getting their hopes up -

I don't think the current version of the Bills can beat a team with an elite defense. If the offense sputters, I don't see this defense keeping another team below 20 points. Basically there will be no 14-10 or 9-7 victories. -

Both of those things have been a recurring issue all year long. We may lead the league in missed tackles. And Brady's predictable, repetitive, chickenspit offense has absolutely been boring and uninspiring.
