He hates the medical establishment. It's not uncommon in corporate types. He hates the establishment in general.. Which is strange given his family is ultra establishment excepting his grandfather who was a bit sketchy. This anti establishment trope is a pillar of MAGA...even if they suffer from it. No idea what they expect to happen to make their loves better but it isn't rfk jr.

I find it stunning how little Kennedy understands about medicine. Three key concepts he fails to understand 1) Life is not risk free. Neither is medicine. All medical interventions have risks. 2) Vaccines are safety tested. In phase I, II, and III trials, done before vaccines are approved for use. The most useful of these is usually the phase III trial, which will typically enroll hundreds or thousands of volunteers. Read the NEJM articles on Covid mRNA vaccines. Theses article are free and publicly available, and have exhaustive lists of side effects in the vaccine and placebo groups. 3) Hep B vaccines aren’t given to prevent infant deaths. They are given to prevent chronic hepatitis, which can lead to death 30-50 years later.

As others have said, I love the fact the Bills are playing in front of a national audience so often, but I really hate having to wait all freakin day to see the game. I'm just ready to get this season underway.... if the Bills can get a win tomorrow, it could be the first of a pretty decent winning streak to start the season, whereas a loss would not be the end of the world, but would certainly make for an annoying next couple of days. Lets get this win, boys!! Go Bills!!!!!

Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF

I don't think Franklin is going to be inactive. They brought him in specifically for Special Teams and he's one of Tabor's favorite ST'ers. I would expect one of Landon Jackson or Javon Solomon to be inactive. Possibly Jackson, as Solomon is a Special Teams player. I know Shavers is a fan favorite lately, but I'm not convinced that he'll be active and Moore won't. Shavers is the #4 Boundary WR on the Depth Chart. Moore is the #2 Slot on the Depth Chart. It wouldn't surprise me if Shavers dressed over Moore. But I would be equally, if not more unsurprised if it went the other way. -
You do know there is more than just the GM and HC scouting players? Whaleys staff was a big part of that draft and free agency. McD just didn’t show up in Buffalo and do everything himself until they hired Beane.

Mann idk…Doug Whaley was probably the worst nfl mind in the league 2013-2016 then we think he was the main factor in bringing in those three impact dbs and it wasn’t mostly McDermott? That is a scaldingly hot take im almost certain Whaley was a lame duck in that draft/free agency period and pegula wanted to keep it under wraps so prospective gms didn’t think they were walking into some kind of power struggle I feel like if Hairston and bishop don’t work out then yea lets have that discussion you were going for. Seems a bit premature though. Mcd has developed some great dbs and has had some minimal talent depth guys step in and play pretty solid when needed

Dude you're going to be eating sour grapes when we win the super bowl buddy BILLieve this roster is better than last year's

Game week thread - Ravens at Bills SNF

While I think people are generally overlooking Michael Hoecht - this idea that "Our upgrades at DL are suspended 6 weeks" isn't true. Especially along the Interior. T.J. Sanders and Deone Walker is where the major improvements were made. Larry Ogunjobi is an upgrade over some of the depth we had. But I don't think anyone's looking at him as the real game changer among those three additions. And like I said, I expect bigger things out of Hoecht than was thought when we signed him - especially after the impressive off-season he had. And we'll be better when he is in the lineup. But Bosa is where the major upgrade is. The only "wild card" about Bosa is whether or not he can stay healthy. And there's also Landon Jackson, who was hot and cold in the Pre-Season. All this to say we made 6 additions along the Defensive Line to improve it. We have 4 of those 6 on hand now and they're most of where the improvements are expected to come from. -
President Trump Cracking down on Crime in our Nation's Capital
B-Man replied to B-Man's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Looking for black people in this video. Not finding them. See, in DC the worst crime is in predominantly black neighborhoods. 41% of the DC population is black. So where are all the black people in this "protest"? I'll tell you why there are so few: DC's black population is the primary beneficiary of Trump's incredibly effective crackdown on DC crime. These "protesters" are all white Democrat self-appointed "elites" who live in crime-free Northwest DC (or the DC suburbs) in their $2mm+ homes. White Democrats feel a congenital need to virtue signal, even if it means killing black people. Then they go home in their lululemon yoga pants, Allbirds loafers and Subaru Forester, where they open a $200 bottle of wine and celebrate themselves over all the "good" they did today. Sickening. Good Question. -
The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills

I mean, yeah. But you know who else loses 1 - 2 games in stupid fashion every year? Nearly everyone. The Chiefs did go 15-2 last year, but in the years before that, they lost six, three, five, two, four and four. Again, pretty much everyone loses a game or two in stupid fashion. That's football. -
I won’t Google for you because undoubtedly any link I post will be too far left for you. But here’s a tidbit. And your most recent post is making me think you will defend this administration even on some really stupid things like this; perhaps not at open minded as you claim to be. This is purely a waste of money. It’s silly in every way. “A 2022 report by the Naming Commission to Congress found that efforts by the Department of Defense to change the names of all military assets that honor Confederate leaders, which would be less widespread than this initiative, would cost an estimated $62.5 million.” That is a fraction of the effort this will take; signage alone will be an insane waste of money.

The KC Vs Chargers game implications for the Bills
Thurman#1 replied to BigAl2526's topic in The Stadium Wall
I don't think this means a whole lot more than a loss for KC. Having said that, and having seen only the highlights, the one thing that encouraged me was that KC's offense still doesn't look anything like it did three to six years ago. Still solid. Still dangerous and opportunistic. But not elite. One game is too early to say much, but if asked to take something from that one game, that's what I'm taking. The thread asks for implications after one game. The guy gave what he figured were the implications after one game. This is the ultimate in reasonable. Attacking him for posting his opinions about one game after one game, in this thread, is pretty wacky. It's what the thread asked for, what it's about.
