Trump spent 8 years being prosecuted and litigated for everything under the sun, followed by two attempted impeachments by the Democrats. When that didn't work they tried to assassinate him...twice. When that didn't work, they took out one of his biggest spokespersons. Now the fact that there are legions of leftists out there gleefully celebrating with impunity the death of Charlie Kirk and wishing Trump be next also flies in the face of their delusion of living under a fascist regime.
