As an ex military officer, it always bothers me when people raise that resume as though their current views are to be more weighted because of service. Everything this man did was voluntary. He chose. I have no objection to him stating the obvious, which is that one should not execute an illegal order. Everybody knows that. I don't like using military service to promote political opinion. Shut up and do your job, which you and the US Senate failed at during the shutdown.

Daboll would be a good get as OC if he isn't hired by a power 5 college team looking for a HC, and if Josh is lobbying for him to be brought back. But, I think there will be better options on the market if Brady is a)let go (long shot) or 2)takes a HC job (either pro or college). My first choice would be someone who needs an image upgrade after failing out as an HC, ie. McDaniel, when he is fired by Miami.

The jury is still out on Shottenheimer…I think he’s done a good job this year, with all the chaos around that organization…and Reid is hardly infallible, especially with Mahomes having regressed a bit. In fact, Chiefs nation was calling for his head less than a week ago.

Never liked that look. Either all white or blue jersey/white pants. Red jersey is cool. But you've got to go with white pants. All red or all blue is awful.

The Patriots have a bye before playing us, which means 2 straight weeks of hearing how cute it was of the Bills to win the AFC East for a few years from their "fans" here in New England. Beating the Bills a second time this year will take their fair weather fandom to a whole new level and I cringe at the thought of it. I have Pats PTSD and the only cure for it is to have them be irrelevant. The Pats signing ex Bills players and seeing them have success there makes it that much worse.
