Fantasy Football - Draft Discussion Only
The Jokeman replied to Johnny Hammersticks's topic in The Stadium Wall
I was trying to say your pick at 10 was a good spot. -
Parsons traded to Green Bay, given $188 million contract
BarleyNY replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
We’d have had to have sacrificed extensions and/or day 1 FA signings for some good players and found their replacements elsewhere - the draft, trade, later in FA. There certainly could’ve been disruption to our continuity, but it’s the job of a GM to find players that fit and the job of coaches to integrate them. Certainly worth that to get a difference maker who can elevate one side of the ball. That makes a huge difference in the postseason. -
As I stated I did not know him, to my knowledge that post is the first time I have seen his name. You are the one who knows all about him, and then try to pretend otherwise
-
It is not unusual for him? You cant be rational for a moment? Trump hasn't made a coherent speech in years and we have to hear the narrative that Biden had dementia. Which he probably did. And so does Trump. Stop worshiping a side. You post X videos all day. From mainly unknown morons. Adam Mockler is on news networks and speaks very clear and intelligently. Maybe after listening to Trump for years you have forgotten what that is like. TDS hose? Again. I have nothing to say!!! TDS!!! You are a waste of time as well.

I was miserable this week at a very nice hotel, eating at the best restaurants in Asheville (cu'rate is fantastic), viewing a great exhibit, swing dancing in a club with very cool people (for as long as my back would allow) and hanging out with my wife. It was neither quiet nor miserable.

Game (two week) thread - Ravens at Bills SNF
ganesh replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Also, the Ravens keep Allen in check in most of the games. They kept him to 127 yards in 22 attempts in the playoffs. He has 180 yards in the regular season om 29 attempts I want this game to be a Jimbo game. Run him and run him hard. -
IMHO - The only reason it could be under is if injuries cause it. Keon has been the featured WR all camp and by all reports the best WR in camp. He was on pace for 1,000 yards last year before he got hurt against the Dolphins. And all everyone has talked about all offseason and camp is how Keon is not the same player and a lot better now than he was last year. Kincaid was slowed by knee issues last year too in his 2nd year and people forget as a rookie he had the 4th most catches for a rookie TE in history. Now we are in year 2 of Bradys full offense, Keon and Kincaid are healthy and have more experience with Allen, and are both going to be focal points of the offense more so than even last year. So I have no doubts it will be over personally, assuming they don't miss time of course.

I'm guessing it was the Billdo that stuck in his craw.

Athletes you came to love more in later life
SirAndrew replied to Another Fan's topic in Off the Wall
Agree, this is why I appreciate players solely for on field production. I don’t like players because they’re a “good guy”. If a great player has been guilty of unsavory behavior, I’m not going to be a fan, but beyond extreme cases I don’t judge. -
Maybe they coulda had just a few more drives not end in 3 and out? Sam Martin punted more times in 2024 than he did in 2023 and more than he did in 2022. Never said what they were doing wasn't working. Not asking for any radical change either. Bills were 49% run - 51% pass last year. I liked it better when we were around 45% run - 55% pass. I just think if you have a future HOF QB you should be trying to lean into the passing game more. Ideally, I just want the 2021 playoff Bills back. That was the one time they scored enough points to beat the Chiefs. I really didn't want to turn this into a Josh Allen thread. Oh well.

Id be more concerned that Trump hasn’t been seen in three days

Knowing how vile lefties are, probably both. The most miserable people on the planet. Did the Scottish police ever release that cctv video? ***** no.

I was a proponent of drafting him in January of 2024. I just really liked him at FSU. So I have been in on him since well prior to the draft. Last year he didn't appear to me to be a physical as I thought he might be able to be. In addition, I didn't think he was as effective in jump ball red zone targets. I recall him grabbing several jump balls, which helped contribute to his insane YPC, but I expected him to be dominate here. I think a lot of this was just the adjustment period to the NFL game. So a lot of potential. I think a big sign for him will be getting that YAC down. A number one WR has to catch balls between 5-10 yards, which is often a product of route running and separation. If we see that YAC come down and his receptions go up I'm confident in even more TD's from him this year. It could be a really big year for him. One of the guys I'm most excited to watch this coming year. I think he's going to surprise a lot of people. 65 Rec, 900, 8 TD's ..... I would have him even higher on these Reception and Yards targets, but I just don't know how much Brady will ever feature one player. At the least he is going to be a Tuddy machine.

You ooze hate and envy... I will leave you to your quiet misery... In the mean time, the Republic will be restored... And when it is all over... You will think of POTUS Trump... And you will say thank you... You have some homework to do until then... Good luck...

You literally are arguing that a child rapist is my equal, which makes you either a coward or evil. Secondly Twitter doesn't work that way, it does not limit you to only a few things. It will show you things beyond trains and museums, it is not just a simple message board. Your lies are so funny because you keep wondering why no one believes most of your "experiences". In the last hour you said you only know Dries because of a non political grad school situation, which was 40 years ago unless you are a liar, and Dries has been "famous" in Europe for about 6 years. If you know him it is because you have made an effort to know him.
