JoeF
Chris Brown's blog post on Jauron's retention: While the retention of Dick Jauron as head coach may not go over well publicly, fans needs to keep in mind that 2009 will likely be the make or break year. Jauron and his coaches likely know they dodged a bullet. They likely also recognize that if the playoffs are not reached in 2009 they won’t be so fortunate the second time around. That sense of urgency hopefully comes from the top from the very first day this team re-assembles in March for the offseason workout program. If that sense of urgency can trickle down to the players perhaps more consistent play will be the result week to week. I also wonder since offensive game management was mentioned specifically in Mr. Wilson’s statement and that they would be addressed, if Jauron won’t enlist a staff member to assist only with game and clock management. It may sound unusual, but why not give it a shot?

BillsVet
Chris Brown is part of the OBD spin machine. Oh sure, he says something negative once in a blue moon, but he's a mouthpiece for this team. He probably gets his marching orders from Scott Berchtold or Brandon. Either way, he's a never going to be very objective. . I'm sure if you asked him outside of his job what he thought, he'd say this organization is run like the Cleveland Indians of Major League fame. But why bite the hand that feeds you?

BEAST MODE BABY!
Well, there are a lot of long time Bills fans who are fed up. Many seem to indicate they won't buy season tickets. I sure as ¢hit will not renew NFL SUNDAY TICKET™. I don't think this is Internet bluster...I think we'll see fewer season tickets sold next year than this year. And WTF is with 2009 is a make or break year? I thought 2008 was that year? Did Chris Brown ever work at the Clinton White House, because I haven't seen spin like that since the late '90s. The sheer outright hypocrisy is what is so funny (the way that a root canal is funny). Three weeks ago Ralph very publicly states that this team is seriously lacking in talent yet from today's press release comes this gem Wilson added “I believe in the last few years we have gotten close personnel wise and look forward to another strong draft, more assertive veteran leadership and continued improvement from our young quarterback.” Can anyone believe anything coming from OBD these days? Just wow.

I just read the Iraqi version of this post, and it sounded a lot like this: "They are not near Baghdad. Don't believe them....They said they entered with tanks in the middle of the capital. It is a part of this sickness of their plan. There is no any existence to the American troops or for the troops in Baghdad at all." But I like Chris Brown nonetheless. He's just doing his job. I don't expect to get every tidbit or nugget of inside info, but nothing they say is close to honest. The Bills expend so much energy selling this team, and it's not going to work this season. I think the fans have eaten the PR spin for as long as they will. This decision sends a powerful message that no rational fan can ignore. And that is that Ralph is here to make money, team be da*ned.
