  1. Langston was not cut because he couldn't play LT. He was cut because there is someone else on the team that they believe can play the position better, and they're not going to have a $5 million dollar player eating oreos on the bench. People equate Langston being cut with the fact that he can't play LT.
  2. Walker for Peters was an upgrade for the same reasons that Donte Stallworth was an upgrade to T.O, Orlando Scandrick an upgrade to Pacman Jones, and Glen Holt an upgrade over Chris Henry. The dude didn't want to be on the Bills and his attitude more than showed it. Just getting his lazy azz off this roster is an upgrade. I know it's hard for idiots like you to understand, but there is more to putting together a football team than just talent.
  3. She's my favorite out there, and it aint even close. She comes in 2nd.
  4. Nothing. That's why it's on the "Off the Wall" forum...
  5. He isn't the starting LT, Bell is. I would assume they had some sort of agreement with Chambers that they were going to resign him quickly. I assume if he received another offer, the Bills would match. Chambers would come back because the OT situation is so shaky here, as compared to any other team that might offer him a contract.
  6. If their plan was truly to start Chambers all along, do you really think they'd cut him and risk their LT? It's Bell.
  7. No, I'm saying if they double Maybin we are screwed because we don't have a pass rusher on the other side that can get to the QB consistently (Kelsay, Denney, Schobel). I said our only hope is for Chris Ellis to perform and hope he can turn into that player we need. Maybin won't help the pass rush much if teams decide to double him.
  8. Yeah, Schobel has really been up to par rushing the passer the last 3 years. My bad.
  9. I'd want to go to Fenway Park and Wrigley field. Unfortunately, looking at the prices, I just don't think I'll be going out to Fenway any time soon, especially when the Yankees are in town. I want to see LeBron play in a playoff game in Cleveland. I'm a lifelong Mets fan, but have spent my years seeing them play in other parks due to location. I need to make it to NYC for a game. Too bad Shea is gone. A home Sabres stanley cup game would be ideal. But that would require them to make it back that far. I'm not optimistic. Make it to a Notre Dame game in South Bend. So much tradition.
  10. Our only hope is Chris Ellis. I suspect teams will begin to double Maybin when he's in on crucial passing downs and take him out of the game. Maybin won't be a factor unless someone else can win a one on one battle, and we know Kelsay, Denney and Schobel certainly aren't going to get any kind of a pass rush on the other side. Why we cut Bryan is beyond me. Our only hope is that Ellis can be that 2nd pass rusher in crucial moments.
  11. As long as New England continues it's dynasty, most of our seasons will be over before they've started. The competition for 2 wild card spots is extremely stiff, and the Bills just aren't as good as those teams right now.
  12. Well, this year they'll be playing a 4-3 majority, and Warren (a DT in college) will be moved inside with Wilfork. At least that's what is most likely now with Seymour gone.
  13. Judging by your above posts, I'm surprised you even know what the word cognitive means. If I've displayed any sort of cognitive dropoff in this thread, it can probably be attributed to the fact that it's littered with your handicapped drivel, which has severely brought me down with it. Anyhow, keep making posts with no facts in them. It's enjoyable ripping you apart.
  14. Seymour was a great player in their 3-4, but I don't think the dropoff between Seymour to Warren will be that drastic of a move that it will greatly effect the defense. Warren is a good enough player (not quite the caliber of Seymour) that he will certainly be dominant in his own right.
  15. I don't think losing Seymour will hurt that defense, and I watch more football than you.
  16. You must be the son of Al Davis. Only something this assinine could stem from him.
  17. A week before the season? Do you realize that the pats only played the 3-4 defense last year 15% of the time? Do you realize they've been installing the 4-3 over the last 2-3 years? Why don't you get informed before coming to the table.
  18. Belichick would not make the trade if there wasn't someone that he knew could step up. They will play primarily a 4-3 defense, so it is Wilfork and Warren on the inside. There was no use for Seymour, as he isn't big enough to be a DT and doesn't have the pass rush skills of a 4-3 DE. Pryor has been tearing it up this preseason, and they obviously have very high hopes for 2nd rounder Brace. They have a VERY good group of DT's with Wilfork and Warren starting, and Brace and Pryor as the backups. One of the best DT groups in the league, probably.
  19. Somebody should tell the coaches. They've been lining him up at DE all offseason.
