  1. He is young, and he does have talent, I guess. I'm just saying I wouldn't trust him over Fitz to run the offense in crunch time. He certainly can develop into a better player, but he's not there right now. If he'd come here as a #3 and develop and not have to go into the game, then I'd listen. But if Trent goes down, and we all know he will, I'd rather have a guy I trust coming into the game.
  2. I guess that's where we disagree. Fitzpatrick has only proved that he can successfully lead the offense on scoring drives this preseason. He knows the offense and runs it very well. I still have my questions about him, but if you're not better than him at this point, I think there's no point to add the extra body. And I don't consider Jackson a better option than Fitz right now.
  3. I know that, but the other poster is talking in relation to QB Jackson. Last year Jackson wasn't their starter, Frerotte was. Jackson came in at the end of the season and sucked it up. The years Jackson actually started, they didn't make the playoffs. And that actually furthers my point. Jackson couldn't take that team to the playoffs, but Frerotte could.
  4. I'd REALLY like to hear that argument, especially since they DIDN'T make the playoffs.
  5. Would you trade a potential Brad Butler or Nic Harris for a backup QB that is never going to see the field?
  6. Exactly. They needed a QB to hand the ball off to Peterson and not do anything to fucck up the game. He couldn't do it.
  7. 1.) There are MANY other problems keeping the Bills from the playoffs than just one thing. That one thing is certainly not the offensive line. 2.) The pass protection by the line in the Pittsburgh game was excellent. No idea what you were watching. Were you high? 3.) We did select a lineman with a 1st rounder. His name is Eric Wood. Don't know if you've heard of him.
  8. Did I not just say I was being sarcastic, and it was a joke? What is so hard about this?
  9. Well, I'd hate to burst your bubble, but your ninja intuition isn't quite as up to par as you think. I was being sarcastic. You must not have been around for this: Schopp
  10. Yeah, it doesn't have anything to do with our head coach or anything. Or our owner. Or our lack of a GM. Or our lack of a quality QB. Or the fabulous Tampa-2 defense that works so well. Or our midget defense. It's all because Evans, Owens, Reed, Parrish and Johnson aren't good enough. Why didn't I think of that?
  11. Oh really? You mean he'd stop beating up women and acting like an !@#$ all the time if they just paid him more money?
  12. I wouldn't even trade Felton Huggins for him. Not a chance. If I were running a team, I wouldn't want that guy anywhere near it.
  13. Who in the last 3 months has ever said that?
  14. Yeah, like all of a sudden Thomas isn't a good LB or something because he got hurt and we cut him. Jesus, some people are ridiculous.
  15. And maybe since he would have a month more of practices and training camp, he could have suffered a more serious injury. What is the point of that?
