MLB. Buggs is almost a lock to make the team, with his ability to be a demon on special teams and someone who can actually play his position. Ellison is also having an excellent preseason. No one is mentioning it because we all hate him, and root for Nic Harris, but his great play cannot be denied.

The Patriots released QB Kevin O'Connell. He was a 3rd round pick just last year.

I think Reed is not paying attention because he sees the man, and sometimes two men, are right on him, and probably thinks no QB in the world would still throw it to him.

The only thing I can hold on to is that they're REALLLLLY holding back the offense for the regular season on purpose. That's about all I can come up with and hold hope for. That we'll unleash T.O. and the vertical passing game against the Pats. Let's hope they're not actually trying right now.

Because I don't think it's a guarantee that he is. I have been pleasantly surprised with how well Butler has handled RT, and I'd take his attitude and style of play over Walker's any day (if they are even). Much has been said about the line not being athletic enough over the last few years to accomplish simple tasks such as screen plays and draws. I can only assume Walker was a key contributor to that, since he is the largest and least mobile guy on the line by far. If Butler can play RT, which up to this point he's shown me that he can, his nastiness, aggressiveness and mobility may be the better option to go with at RT. However, I don't believe Butler vs Walker is the only factor in the debate for who starts at RT. IMO, the real question is the progression of Levitre. That is what will decide. It is basically a question of who you'd rather have on the line, Levitre or Walker. IMO, if it was merely a question of who to put at RT, I'd choose Butler. But the question really is, is Levitre Wood and Butler a stronger combination than Wood Butler Walker? Not sure about that one.

Well, that makes me feel better then, knowing that if that's true, I must be right. FYI I never said I thought he was better, btw.

Hangartner is good, I'm not sure he goes anywhere, at least for right now. I could see the Bills going through this year with Bell, Wood, Hangartner, Butler, Walker, and if Hangartner isn't what they expected, giving the offseason to Wood to play OC and Levitre LG, or maybe at some point during the year. But I have to believe they aren't going to completely revamp the line 2 weeks before opening night on MNF against NE. Also, don't assume Walker automatically goes back to RT and Butler to RG. If they like Butler's progress, it could easly be Bell, Levitre, Hangartner, Wood, Butler.

I would. If Walker or Butler struggles, I think Bell could be ready this season. I didn't think so before. But after watching the preseason games, I think he can hold his own for right now if need be.
