I really don't know what this world has come to that people want to embrace the negatives after a great win... in what should be a joyous moment.

I think it's mostly driven by what has become an almost irrational hatred of McD/Beane by so many on here.  There are people who have literally posted during the season - while we have one of the top teams in the league - that they want the Bills to lose so McD/Beane get fired.  After wins there are people who run to their keyboard to B word about some meaningless TO called in the first half.

People can be a fan however they want - but choosing to be constantly miserable even after wins during a period where our team is among the top in the league is not how I choose to do it

I can’t speak for all the McD and Beane “haters” but I’m actually very excited about the playoffs because of the competition we’re about to face and the resilience of this team. I do think a lot of our problems come from McD not having this team prepared and Beane not giving Josh what he needs, I do believe they are and have held Josh back BUT the results right now are thrilling wins so let’s win a Super Bowl and all is forgiven.

The Ravens game is meaningless because the Pats would have a tie breaker on division win/loss if both teams won out minus that game. Pats need to lose to either Miami or Jets for us to win division. Losing to Ravens I guess at most would allow us to lose another game. Personally I would rather the Pats beat the Ravens and keep them out of the playoffs too. Miami is the key game assuming the Bills win out.

I think the Steelers win tonight. I am rooting for them to win. I don't see the Bills winning the division simply because I don't think we will get any help from the Fins or Jets. If the Bills have to play WC weekend which they probably will then sign me up for the 4 vs 5 matchup with the Bills at Steelers.

I mostly agree but still holding out hope we get a miraculous performance from one of our division rivals in remembrance of the 20 years of torture the pats put all of us through winning the division year in and year out

The math says they're still favorites...but they had their chance to seal the deal and came up very, very small.

Lots of reasons why this was a big win.  The fact that they won with the pats coming off a bye, in NE, without our best corner, and 21 points down entering the second half is pretty impressive.  They were saying that Vrabel hadn’t lost a regular season game coming off a bye in his career.

Just a great win. Odds are that they'll win the division but not with a win over us.

The Bills denied their greatest aspiration and symbolically that's huge..

Vrabel’s presser is hilarious. He looks like he just got caught stealing his grandmother’s underwear. 🤣🤣

Strange body language for sure. I wonder what he looks like after a win.

Jerry Sullivan's not dead but his career is.

Just finished watching the game.  Man, I am as stoked as ever.  Any time you beat the Patsies it’s sweet.  And, the Bills gave me the best birthday present I could asked for (my wife and are getting up there so any love is good love on that front at our ages).

This team has always tormented us but this year’s version has that veteran presence and confidence so even when we were down 21 I wasn’t panicking—the D was fantastic in the second half, Cook keeps churning, Josh is the cape, Knox is a new man and I think Josh’s audible on that last 3rd down to give the ball to Ty was smart AF.  They’re like the Energizer Bunny.  Hats off to them for continuing to give us life on Sundays and to show the league they are not a team to count out this year and this year is wide f’ing open!!

WGR mainly Mike Schopp talking about how feelings about this game don't matter and who cares blah blah blah. Man yeah feeling matter. Could any of imagine if we got swept by the Pats?  How awful that would have been hearing about that all offseason?  Maybe we win out and they lose to Miami or the jets. Maybe not. I'm happy for the win today and it feels great.

I’m not doing any analysis. I’m basking in the glory of a great comeback win that honestly I didn’t think we had in us. I still think we clean house if we don’t get to the SB but I’ll enjoy this W as one of the great regular season wins in our recent history. I HATE the Pats* with the passion of Kraft getting an Asian handy and just to shut these NE* asswipes up for a week is glorious. The cherry on top is listening to these bandwagon douches complain about the refs after 20 years of favorable calls hahahahah that’s just perfect.

I'm with you guys.

Ok, so I was one of the idiots calling for everyone’s head in the first half

i’m such an emotional dude that after the pats went up 21-0, I pulled off my bills shorts and tee shirt and threw them in the garbage and put on my Cornell gear (my Alma mater )

I eventually took the bills gear out of the garbage and into the laundry but I suck lol

Kudos to you,

The best thing about today, other than the epic comeback of course… was Drake Maye shrinking in the biggest of moments.  Now i fully realize he is still not a finished product. and will be great for years to come. But for a while there it seemed like he was a mistake free android that could do no wrong. and then he wasn’t.

Looking at Maye through experienced eyes, it looks like he has a good chance to be as good as Justin Herbert... which is pretty good.

the pats were throwing trick plays in the first half. To me, that’s a sign you either are overconfident or think you need to in order to win. I thought that was the only good omen for Buffalo in the first half

Great observation. It was a shock and awe strategy which is a bit desperate... throw the kitchen sink to try to demoralize the Bills.

It was a knockdown but clearly not a knockout. In fact Maye had to check down underneath because the Bills covered the play well which was a good sign.

Come on now. Maye is in his second year. The fact that he's in the MVP conversation tells you how good he is.  If you can't see his talent then you don't know football.

You've been more complimentary/defensive of New England than of the Bills... like you're some public defender trying to make sure his client is treated fairly.

As I've said before, Maye has a chance to be as good as Herbert. Right now he's overhyped and the comparisons to Josh Allen are frankly insulting.

Stow your "impartiality and fairness" for a day or two. I really don't care for your advocacy of New England and it makes me question where you're coming from.

If Miami looks good in beating the Steelers tonight I absolutely think they can beat the Pats.  Miami has been playing well as of late.  And if Baltimore beats down the Pats next week I think the Pats confidence takes a hit - and there will be more pressure on them those last two games.  I only wish the Miami game was Week 17 and not the last game - since Miami could be running for the bus (esp if it is colder than 50 degrees :) )  - need to just have faith Mike McDaniel can keep his troops motivated!               😆

At least the Pats can't take a break the rest of the year as long as we keep winning

One thing that can’t continue, and has happened way too much, is what we saw on the second to last drive where we went 3 and out and punted back to NE with a chance to ice it.

Run. Run.  Screen pass.

Completely taking the ball out of Allen’s hands on that drive.   I never know if he checks in and out of stuff, but that was brutal.

@newcam2012 you said exactly:

"However, the kid Maye is in year two and looks to be in his way to being a franchise QB. The Pats fans have a lot to be optimistic about" and later you post:

Nothing special? You got to be kidding me. He made every play in the book. Extending plays and making Josh Allen type plays. Geeze you can't even acknowledge how good he was that game. Unbelievable!

Time will time how good he will become. I do think it's too early to crown him franchise.

This is literally the definition of talking out both sides of your mouth... or maybe you split atoms for a living?

What's your deal here?

I’ve never stood for so much of a Bills game in my own living room

I purposely stood every time the Bills had the ball for the entire second half only because they kept scoring.

I stand by everything I said. It's not talking out of both sides of my mouth. What did I say that's inaccurate? Don't take things so personally. It's ok to disagree on here. Let's be civil.

Re watch the first game. If you weren't impressed with Maye's performance than I'm not sure what else to say.

Do you even watch the Bills!? I clear the couch out of the living room and stand the whole game, maximize space to jump around

Honest question: We’ve watched Cam Lewis getting torched all season, but I don’t recall hearing his name yesterday…did he play?

Good question.

I'd add that Taron Johnson is not looking very good too. Hoping he can step it up or be replaced. Could be an issue going forward.

(Paraphrasing for brevity) "He looks to be on his way to being a franchise quarterback... but I agree it's too early to call him a franchise quarterback."

Your equivocation is like that of a soothsayer. As the discussion progresses you make microscopic distinctions in the name of what? It's like you're playing a game.

Separately your "we must be overly fair to our opponent" schtick is really tiresome. The only strong statements you make are in giving benefit of the doubt to the other team.

Tell me about your history as a Bills fan... where you come from and why you root for the team.

It's 8:07 ET.

Counterpoint - rewatch the 2nd half of this game.  He looked lost.
