Steady light snow all night. I'm about 80 miles north of Foxboro and we have 2" in NH. Supposed to be heavier south of Boston and will last until 2-2:30pm

Pats will be going after the ball especially with Cook fumbling of late.

The thing that interests me is that Bills have nothing to lose in this game and no pressure. They're in the playoffs & they know it. They know that January resets everything.

The Patriots want to be the king, want to win the East... They gotta prove it here. Can they hold up to the pressure?

If the Bills win today the Bills will just keep playing football until the playoffs. They know it helps in the AFCE but they have been here over many years.

If the Patriots lose they'll have slipped, lost a game after Meatheads bye & be one step closer to losing the AFCE and more pressure.

The Bills have nothing to lose and that both scares me and excites me. They'll play more relaxed.

I expect the Bills to win in strong fashion because they're getting hot. I think the Patriots need to lose a game now before the playoffs to start that hot streak they'll need to make a run.

It'll be interesting.

I've been saying this as well. Today is the first time NE has had this kind of game and pressure. Sure if they lose they may still win the division, however the cloud about the weak schedule will follow them. The Bills have played many of these games and it should be an advantage.

Looks like there is going to be a little snow all game, about 20° wind chill

Kincaid is fully healthy and Allen can throw all over the field in these elements. He's definitely used to it....Bills wrs know where they're going

Allen could get north of 300 passing yds today

I don't know if Maye can throw in this type of weather

Just when you think Kincaid is fully healthy,........

That's a lot right?

What's so funny to me is the statement that's only 3 games different on the schedule between the 2...

NE*: Giants, Titans, Raiders

Bills: Eagles, Texans, Chiefs

Any news about Christian Benford today? Is he plying or officially out?

Won't know until 11:30.

Something might leak a bit earlier though, once the players start taking the field for warm ups

We need to be prepared for the Pats to attempt bully ball today.
what they did to the giants was not a one-off.  Vrabel coaches cheap shots.
Will be interesting to see how we respond.

The Pats will definitely try to shut down the run (who wouldn't). They have had 2 weeks to plan on how to do it and there was video with them doing it in practice. I think it will be a very frustrating day for Josh and the offense but I hope that I am wrong. I cannot see much that the Bills can do to stop the Pats offense other than hold them to field goals in the red zone. They should be able to move the ball at will. The Pats return game on special teams is really good as well. I will be very surprised if the Bills win. I feel your pain of being surrounded be Pats "fans". Go Bills!

Another worry is that Vrabel will prep his defense to hit Allen as hard as possible every time he runs, not just tackle him but punish him. I say that because of the way he exulted, meanly, in Ellis' hit on Dart and how he implied he would never let his quarterback "put his shoulder down like that." Why, Mike? With his punchable face in mind, I can't help but think he wants to hurt Allen, in part because deep down he's afraid, rightfully so, of his extraordinary running ability. A very good coach but small in character, is my read of Vrabel. Someone who would sucker punch you in a bar.

All the games count the same.  The teams who earn the #1 seed generally come to play as readt for the fifth game of the season in the same way they do the 15th game of the season.  The Patriots had the same pressure the first time they played the Bills. This is not an elimination game for the Patriots.  They will be ready to play.  But they are not under some immense pressure.  It is fair to say they are untested.  Its not clear the Bills have been fully tested either.  Other than our loss to the Patriots we have not played a game against any of the currently projected divisional winners this season (corrected, the Steelers, whom the Bills beat).  The Texan's are in the hunt.  But the Bills failed that test too.  The Bills have more pressure on them, than the Patriots. Hopefully that fuels them to victory.

Without a doubt they would do this. It would please Kraft very much.

There is little doubt that Vrabel has brought back the “ cheap shot” that NE used for many years. Allen is used to it and any such antics won’t be taken lightly. The Officials were pretty awful in that NYG game ( and the first Bills /NE game earlier this year ) but I think they’ll be on point today with a better crew. Besides, Allen is used to it. He’ll be fine.

What cheap shot did they have against the giants?

Hits to the head vs the QB. They were known for this kind of crap for years and are right back to it. The Bills will be ready for it.

Do you see the Pats* winning any of those Bills games, or the Bills losing any of the Pats games? Me, neither. That doesn't necessarily mean the Bills are better, but neither does it mean the Pats are.

Funny how fans and pundits don't really take such key details into account before spouting hyperbole. Allen gets hammered by an elite Texans pass rush, while Maye plays pitch and catch against the weakest three teams in the league, and they conclude that Maye is as good as Allen, maybe better. It's like they're little children shouting out answers in third grade.

I'm not calling Ellis' hit on Dart a cheap shot, but can you imagine if it were Mahomes or Brady he hit? Immediate expulsion and suspension, new rules, outrage among the pundits, groveling apologies from the offenders, whining complaints from Mahomes. (I don't think Brady was a whiner, was he?)

I honor Dart for how he responded, by the way. That's a football player.

Ball security and special teams are going to be paramount this game.  Dont turn the ball over and on STs handle the ball cleanly and don't give up any big returns or ridiculous blocked kicks or game altering plays
