Dick_Cheney Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) https://operations.nfl.com/updates/the-game/germany-to-host-regular-season-games-in-2026-and-2028/ Or just a random graphic the NFL Ops team decided to use? It'd be an absolute joke to lose a home game when it's our first year in a brand new stadium. Surely the NFL isn't that idiotic, right? Right??? Edited 21 hours ago by Dick_Cheney 1 Quote
dwight in philly Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Will have to be a 'ROAD" game.. IF they do .. agree. they cant take a home game away next season. 2 Quote

Ed_Formerly_of_Roch Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Yeah on even numbers years NFC gets extra home game so NFC teams are the home team, odd years AFC is home team for any games outside US Disclaimer. Jax play by different set of rules! 3 1 Quote

Next year's NFC road opponents are Green Bay, Minnesota and the NFC West team that finished in the same place as Buffalo in their respective division, so Rams, Seahawks or 49ers would all be in play still for that spot. BearNorth Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago If we get an international game doesn't it have to be from the type of games [Home/Away] where we have 9 games? I suspect teams wouldn't be thrilled only having 7 home games if they were on the road for 9. [Jax always the exception] 1 Quote
MPL Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Seems likely they were looking for a helmet with a German flag on it and the Bills one is the one they found. Whose helmet is that, by the way? Quote

Whose helmet is that, by the way? Alec Anderson's father was born and raised in Germany so it might be his. You contact the website and see if the helmet reported correctly for the picture. I'm going to stare at it for a few minutes and see if it jumps offside. Either of those should confirm it. 2 1 Quote
Breakout Squad Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Germany is an economic juggernaut. They will get lots of games in the future. NFL loves money. Quote

Jax play by different set of rules! Well written Ed. If we get the 9th home game, that’s a concession. Germany are bigger fans than the UK. My life long bud was an NFL Europe Guy. He played in Germany, and told me they are nuts about the NFL. If we get 8 home games, and the 9th is in Germany, those that can afford it can get a Europe trip out of it. Besides the NFL is so motivated to place top teams in Europe, so it makes sense they place us over there, just like the Chiefs, Ravens, Eagles, Lions, and so on. It’s not like Europeans don’t know who has the best fan bases. Quote
Mike in Horseheads Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I hope they play in Mexico City or Montreal, someplace they can get to and back in reasonable time Quote
sullim4 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Brazil would be ideal - minimal time zone difference and it's right at the beginning of the season. Might as well get that game out of the way on full rest, and enjoy a longer break between weeks 1 and 2. Quote
