Offense is fine, as always, despite what the vocal contingent of crusaders continually post here.

We will go as far as the defense allows, which has been what has let us down in basically all of our elimination games.

So sick of seeing this argument.  In previous playoff exits has the offense been "good enough" to win, if the defense matched its production?  Absolutely.

However, IT DOES NOT MATTER AT ALL "WHOS TO BLAME". I LITERALLY DONT CARE. WE SHOULDNT EITHER.

We've sunk endless assets into defense, with ZEROOOO change for years and years.  This years moves look to be great moves, things are looking up.... but overall, its been an inefficient model to get it done.  We should have the 2024 Eagles D with as much FA signings & draft picks weve invested..... we dont have that.  But admittedly, looks better.

Considering how freaking close all those games have been, all we needed is a 5% bump in production to get over in those games.  Doesnt matter which side of the ball it came from.  Its more efficient and predictable and consistent to get a 5% bump out of the offense, when you have a force multiplier like Josh Allen.  Period.  One WR, not even elite, just good gets us there.  Thats efficient

Getting production out of a defense is not the same.  You're only as strong as your weakest link, especially when game planning against Andy Reid.  You could upgrade 4 or 5 guys on that side, on the bottom tier guys are going to disproportionately sink the units "grade" as a whole.

We've had as close as you can get to a complete offense for a while now.  OL, QB, RB, TE's: all ranging from elite to top notch.  That side of the ball is soooo ready for a finishing touch.

With how this roster is built:

Add 1 top 10-15 WR to that offense >>> Upgrading 3-4 guys on Defense

It's efficiency of resources.  Go get the f**** WR, and then go hog wild on the rest.  Baffling to me why this cant happen.

Hope that Justin Jefferson and/or AJ Brown are available for trade. I'd give up two 1st rounders for Jefferson and one for Brown.

Those two would be at the top of my list. I'd even throw in a player of it was needed.

While on the phone with the Vikings, I'd pivot to Addison if JJ wasn't available. Revisit Waddle. . whatever it takes. We simply cannot enter next season with a WR group that would get kicked off the land of Misfit Toys.

Why do you think 2 late first round picks would get a trade done.

That's what Micah Parsons went for. I can't remember the last time a player went for more than that. Jefferson is an equal caliber of player at an equally premium position. Like with the Parsons deal maybe we have to throw in some player as part of the deal.

Sorry I don't see the Bills pay any receiver north of $35 million a year. Especially when Allen's cap hit is going to be around $60 million next year and beyond. That's the reality for teams like the Chiefs, the Ravens, or you will be looking at the roster structure of the Bengals -- cheap players on defense MUST work.

The best route is drafting WRs, and I think we should take Rams model: numbers. I'd like McDermott and Beane to take some chances on "non-process" characters like Antonio Brown, George Pickens types so that we get them in the years they work to establish themselves and then trade them away. Not every player you draft that shows talent, even great talent, should be retained thru an extension. To me, that strategy needs to change or you will miss out some talent that could push us over the top.

I just want to know what this LA Rams model is with numbers.  You do know the Bills have drafted more and higher wr than the rams over the last 4 years.  The Bills have drafted 4 WRs since 2022 with a 2nd, 4th, 5th, and 7th versus the Rams 3 7th, 6th, and 5th.

The Bills have also drafted multiple TEs in Kincaid and Hayes to supplement the WR class.

I don't think a round 1 receiver is a given.  Edge has first round talent and then a cliff, whereas receiver has no generational talents but quality through three rounds.  At least per one review I read.  Could be Edge in Rd 1 and Receivers 2 and 3 - I would not be upset with that.

I think Coleman will ask to be traded or released at the end of the Bills season.

I doubt it. That would take too much effort to wake up and actually drive to One Bills Drive to ask for that.

The offense is not fine.  We could do a lot more with even just one bonefied real threat at WR.

But yes, the defense is still missing quality talent.

Get ready fellas..

Beane's big move at WR next season is gonna be none other than.

Hunter Renfrow

you heard it here first 😂

That is such a Beane move- ignore quality WRs in the draft and FA- and turn over rocks looking for Hunter, or Chase Claypool, or Marquez- Scalding.  Then get shut down at trade deadline

In most of the mock drafts that I have seen that have us taking a WR in the 1st it's been someone like Boston or another big tall red zone threat, not much speed in this draft ,what little there is will be long gone by the time we are on the clock , guessing mid 20's

It really comes down to who they're playing against.  The offense is extremely tough to stop when you aren't committing to stopping the run.  If a defense can win at the line of scrimmage without overcommitting like the Texans can, then they'll struggle to move the ball.  If a defense heavily commits to crowding the line of scrimmage like the Dolphins did in game 2, then they'll struggle.

The offense has been generally lucky this year with who they played against.  They played three top 10 defenses, only finding success against the Chiefs.

I think this would be the best offense in the league by a mile if they added one dynamic tight end or top rated receiving threat to the outside.  Right now, it's just too one dimensional.

I think Gabe is back. I think Coleman is gone. And Samuel. I think we both get a FA and draft in the first 3 rounds a WR. The WR room starts to look a lot better when guys like Shakir, Davis, Shavers and Palmer move down the barbershop pole.

i think you have just about nailed it …although they could trade their No 1 pick for a WR instead of getting the FA… then still take another one in the draft ..

Hardman might be back too …at least to compete for a spot…

Barring a Road-to-Damascus change in his play... I'd ship him out of town along with candy and a stripper.

I’m ready to cut bait … he doesn’t look like he is a fit with us

I think next year we should bring in a batch of average receivers & spread the ball around---oh wait maybe not. My real question is how much would it cost us next year to get rid of Palmer, I don't think he's very good.

Side Note: there was no harsher critic on these boards (maybe a couple) than me when it came to my derision of Gabe Davis...

...as a Number 2, or a 1A, which I never thought he was...AND paying him.

Was I fine when they brought him back?  Yep.

Do I want him on this team next year?

100% honestly no doubt.

$3-$5 million for 36-44 grabs a year as a 4th WR, then I am in.

Go Bills!

Agreed 100%.  It's strange, the offense just feels smoother with him in there, even if he hasnt lit up the stat sheet yet.  Allen trusts him
