NE loses to Baltimore and Miami. We win 2 of the last three. We win the division and go into the playoffs as the second seed.

Given Denver won today, I think it's very improbable that they aren't the 1 seed.

 

If we aren't the 1 seed, I kinda think winning out but losing the division might be a favorable thing if Denver hosts us in their first game, because I think they could be one and done.

The division:

-Bills win out

-Patriots lose either to the Jets or Dolphins

 

 

#1 seed:

-Bills win out and take the division

-Jags go 2-1

-Broncos go 1-2, but it matters which games they win and lose

   -Lose to Chiefs and Chargers; win against Jags - Bills #1 seed

   -Lose to Jags and Chargers; win against Chiefs - Bills #1 seed

   -Lose to Jags and Chiefs; win against Chargers - Bills #1 seed

   -Lose to Jags; win against Chiefs and Chargers - Broncos #1 seed

   -Lose to Chargers; win against Jags and Broncos - Broncos #1 seed

I don’t understand your broncos section. You say it matters which teams they win/lose to if they go 1-2 but in every 1-2 situation you have the bills getting the 1 seed…so does it matter?

I disagree. Give me a home game all day! Lets seei how Houston does in the cold at Highmark if that were the case. The Bills can beat any team in the playoffs and I like our chances at home! Still a ton of football to be played and seeds could dramatically change over the next three weeks. Bills need to keep stacking wins and go into the playoffs healthy!

Defense travels and doesn't care about the weather. Rodgers is a shell of himself and Pittsburgh has no offense to speak of. Houston is a much tougher out.

And that's very possible at this point. The Patriots are due for a couple more losses and it seems like we should win at least two of the last three.

Read the last two scenarios under the Broncos situation. It says the Broncos would get the #1 seed.

They could very well lose at Baltimore this Sunday night.   Our biggest test is the home game against the streaking Eagles.

It's a double whammy, they're playing really well as a team AND any visiting team has to deal with the tiring effects due to the thinner air at their elevation.  It's not something you can really replicate in your practices prior to playing them.  I've been to Denver many times and it's real, I'd get winded on long walks or climbing a flight of stairs that would not have bothered me at all back east.

It doesn’t make sense because in those 2 scenarios they go 2-1…
 

so if broncos go 1-2 and have the same record as us does that mean we hold the tiebreaker no matter what?

If the pats lose to Baltimore the eagles game doesn’t really matter..  pats still have to lose to one of jets/dolphins so we can either get a game ahead or steal the tiebreaker back.  If they lose one of those two games they’d have to lose one of anyway even if we beat Philly, we have the tiebreaker again and wouldn’t have needed to beat Philly 😂 pretty quirky scenario

Here’s a question I have for the people who really dig into scenarios:

 

We win out

Pats lose to dolphins or jets 

broncos go 1-2 (lost to all AFC teams)

Jags go 3-0

Chargers go 3-0

 

if this all happens then Jags, Chargers and Bills all will be 13-4 with the the same conference record (2 losses to AFC teams and 2 losses to NFC teams)

 

Who gets the 1 seed?
