stlbills13 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 4 fumbles (2 lost) in the last 2 games. Someone make me feel better and tell me this will not be an issue going forward. Please. Quote
Sweats Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Teams are taking swipes at the ball and making honest efforts to get the ball out of Cook's hand by any means necessary. I'm not worried. Quote

Mr. WEO Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) One was a fumble out of bounds so by definition it is insignificant as no opponent can recover it (play was negated by penalty anyway). The other one was a good play by the Defender with a cold snowy wet football. Nothing to worry about. But if you must fret over something, worry about a RB who falls down untouched with a clear path to the EZ (and who subsequently sells a play action handoff fake so poorly tht Josh gets lit up). BuffaloRebound Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago the reach for the end zone was a poor decision, not ball security issue. I’d really prefer to use Josh in short yardage and goal line situations from here on out. I think that solves the majority of the issues. Quote
zow2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It's a market correction. Cook had not fumbled for a while, and he's not a huge guy and has beefy arms raking at the ball on every touch. Just be happy his fumbles are coming in back to back games that we've won. I'm sure he will clean it up. Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Wont be an issue going forward. This is just a result of our 2 stars (Josh and Jimbo) feeling the pressure to press and make even more plays since it's all on the two of them. Just like hero-ball Josh. Cook will calm down and protect the ball better again. Quote

Walking Tall Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I fully expect him to not be happy and to take care of this. It hasn’t been an issue with him up until the last 2 games. We’ll see moving forward but I’m not concerned. Edited 1 hour ago by Walking Tall 1 Quote
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We tend to see things that happen randomly in clumps as a trend. Joe Burrow isn’t suddenly a prolific thrower of INTs, for example, just because he threw two in a row. 2 1 Quote

DapperCam Posted 54 minutes ago Posted 54 minutes ago He also fumbled against the Dolphins when it looked like the Bills were finally putting a drive together. A pessimist might say his career-high touches are leading to this and it will continue. An optimist will say sometimes fumbles happen in bunches and it doesn’t indicate more fumbles in the future. nuklz2594 Posted 53 minutes ago Posted 53 minutes ago when tiki barber had fumble issue. coughlin made him carry football everywhere and had random players etc...to try to knock ball out. worked Quote

Bruffalo Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago A bigger workload means a higher volume of fumbles, but I think he's well within an acceptable range of fumbles per number of touches. He's so electric that it's hard to worry about the fumbles. Quote

Something Vrabel got from the championship defenses he played on in New England.. Thats not good. Quote

Or are you going to pretend you didn't hop into this board to troll? Quote
Matt_In_NH Posted 36 minutes ago Posted 36 minutes ago He will be targeted moving forward. That’s how it works. He has shown ability to put both hands on it. A couple have been sloppy on his part. You cannot reach for the goal line like he did. That Wii be a point of emphasis for the whole team. It always is taught. Quote
