Will that get us the 1 seed? IDK. That's the hill I'll be on. Last season at the Ralph and the road to the SB goes through there. It is destiny. Am I the only Billiever here? Remember being 6-6 at this point once? The loss to the fish is the unplausable piece. But its a division game and they gave buffalo issues. This is the game that comes to mind when you say anything can happen: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/201912290nwe.htm. Anything relating to denver wouldn't be that shocking imo. They haven't looked that great for a bit, and they have GB, JAX, @KC, and LAC. Would need them to lose 3, unless buffalo were to win out. 2 Quote
ngbills Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago KC has chance to win 5 straight. Tougher games are all home games - HOU, LAC, DEN. Road games are at OAK and TEN. Quote
fergie's ire Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago What I find interesting is KC is often predicted to be the 7 seed. I don't think many would be surprised if they ran the table if they are in. If that happens, unless they win the division, the Bills would host the AFC championship if they make it that far. Quote

It's going to be a tall order to get denver to 6 losses, so i think KC is wildcard bound if they make it. Quote

Agreed. Should've clarified. I meant they would run the table in the playoff as the 7 seed. If that happens, the only way the Bills would play them before the AFC championship would be if the Bills are the 1 or the 2. If the Bills are NOT the 1 or 2...but both teams advance to the Championship, the game would be in Buffalo. Could you imagine a 6 vs 7 in the championship? If there were a year it would happen, this is it. 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I am by no means committed to any of this but my first and quick clicking without thinking has me at 1. Denver 14-3 2. New England 13-4 3. Indianapolis 11-6 4. Pittsburgh 9-8 5. Buffalo 13-4 6. Kansas City 10-7 7. Houston 10-7 Jacksonville misses at 10-7 NFC 1. LA Rams 13-4 2. Green Bay 12-4-1 3. Philadelphia 12-5 4. Tampa Bay 11-6 5. Seattle 13-4 6. San Francisco 12-5 7. Detroit 11-6 Chicago misses at 11-6 Quote

Would be extremely surprised if they ran the table if they got it This is an Old slow Kansas City Chiefs team.. you've been watching the NFL for 30 40 50 years there's every reason to know that teams hit bottom As much as people are complaining about the bills we out coached them and smack them in the mouth 1 hour ago, gonzo1105 said: I am by no means committed to any of this but my first and quick clicking without thinking has me at 1. Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago Way too early for the playoff machine!! Have to wait at least another 2 weeks! Quote
Governor Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago I really don’t see the Colts getting in at all. Quote

Here was the result (only took me a couple minutes): I hate it a lot, tbh. So many bad matchups for the Bills. In my simulation, for what it's worth, the Bills lose the next two and then win the last three. I really hope that isn't what actually transpires, but going 3-2 the rest of the way IS reasonable. Could also see arguments for going 4-1, which would have interesting ramifications. for the rest of the AFC. What bracket do YOU come up with after picking the last five weeks of the season? (I tried not to think about any future implications when picking. And I tried to apply an ugly level of objectivity.) I have a hard time buying that the Bengals get in and the Colts don't. Especially given Bengals have to win out to even have a chance and they face Bills and Ravens next 2 weeks. Not to mention they were not winning before Burrow got hurt either. Colts have a tougher 5 games, but 2 of them are against the underwhelming Jaguars and they would need to lose out for the Bengals to get in. Sure, anything is possible, but just seems a lot less likely than the Colts just winning one more game and insuring the Bengals can't get in. And to be clear, I am not high on the Colts, although I hate the matchup for us in the playoffs. So they may not make it still, but I don't think its the Bengals taking their spot.
