IBTG81 Posted 53 minutes ago Posted 53 minutes ago No more Slay. Looks like he might retire per Schefter Quote
Process Posted 51 minutes ago Posted 51 minutes ago I always wondered about waivers when it comes to veterans close to retirement. I assumed teams talk to the player first before putting in a claim, both out of respect for a player at the end of their career, and because there is no point in putting in a claim for a player that can just decide to retire if they don't want to come. I guess that's not how it works, the Bills clearly put in a claim without any buy in from Slay. Quote

Why would he want to move to a new city he's never been to before for two months before retiring? I am shocked the bills put in a claim to be honest. Quote

NewEra Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago It’s going to get even better when an afc team claims Ingram. Especially when it’s NE 🤣 this really sucks Quote

He's played the Bengals twice, he's played the Browns, he has insight into the Eagles. All of whom are next up on our schedule. He provides depth, can still play, and has a ring. That's how waivers work. If he doesn't like it, he doesn't have to play. 2 2 Quote
GolfandBills Posted 39 minutes ago Posted 39 minutes ago I wonder if they can just cancel the transaction since Slay won’t report. That seems kinda screwed up if the Bills lose two players over this 1 1 Quote

Cray51 Posted 38 minutes ago Posted 38 minutes ago Can we just hold him and not put him on waiver, activate him each week, and fine him for not reporting? He is pulling the Gronk trade to Detroit move! Quote
Bray Wyatt Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago We will just hold his rights, and if he retires, I believe that opens back up the spot Quote

HolySchmidt Posted 34 minutes ago Posted 34 minutes ago Anyone else kind of hoping he retires at halftime, so it can become a Bills DB tradition? 1 Quote
