ChronicAndKnuckles Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago (edited) I would hate for the Bills efforts to go to waste if he signs with a new team after having his first potentially fully healthy season in 4 years. 5 sacks, 5 FFs, and a whopping 15 QB hits. Although not always perfect at containing more athletic QBs, he’s improved in that area a lot as well. That strip sack turned the game on its head and helped cement a convincing Buffalo victory. Whether McDermott/Beane stay or leave, Bosa needs to be signed to multi year contract. You can tell he enjoys being here and it’s clear he has plenty of gas left in the tank. play of the game https://www.facebook.com/share/v/14PSDYdycRh/?mibextid=wwXIfr Edited 1 hour ago by ChronicAndKnuckles 4 5 Quote

HamptonBillsfan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago We are seeing the best Joey Bosa in 5 years. He’s staying healthy and our best pass rusher. A real leader and a great signing by Beane. 3 1 Quote
SC STATE NUPE Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Only if it’s a deal like this year. Defensive players, especially ones with a lengthy history of injuries, do not age well. Let’s still take it a game at a time with him because he’s been mostly healthy this year. Even if you lose him, I wouldn’t stress that much because you already know you have to get younger at that position… 1 1 Quote
Augie Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago While some people complain about paying Groot half of what the top DE’s get, I don’t see the same people commending the FO on the Bosa signing. How curious. 2 Quote
Billsfed1 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago He’s performed well for the contract given, it’s all you can ask. Quote
Bruffalo Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago If he's willing to sign a 2-year deal then I'd be all about it. I'd be concerned with anything longer than that though. I agree he's been Beane's best signing this off season. 2 Quote
SCBills Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago For the right deal, I’d agree. Culture fit and still has high level play in him. 2 Quote

They have a 2 year deal worth $28.8M as his current "Market Value". I would jump on that. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/market-value/_/id/18951/joey-bosa 3 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 55 minutes ago Posted 55 minutes ago No way. Just be thankful for him now, and pray he can stay healthy. Quote

You don’t let a player like that get away IF he completes the season fully healthy. He is what the Von Miller signing was supposed to be, but at a much better deal. Quote

EmotionallyUnstable Posted 48 minutes ago Posted 48 minutes ago If Bosa is extended, the Bills immediately save 5.4 mil off the books of voided dead money coming due, so depending on how they structure a new deal, it could be relatively low cost against the cap next season. I am not as sold on this as others. Despite him offering good to great pass rush, I think he’s been mid in other aspects. The issue is we really don’t have too much depth here beyond Groot, with Epinessa set to his free agency, a regime who has lost confidence in Solomon, and an injured Landon Jackson. It’s astonishing to say, but once again, this team with need to draft and sign (wait for it) defensive lineman 😮 Quote
gjv Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago I don't think Beane will let the most talented player on our defense leave. Quote
Maine-iac Posted 47 minutes ago Posted 47 minutes ago At the moment he's getting paid a little better than AJ. If he'd reup for the same kind of money he's currently making the plays he makes while healthy are worth the time he spends nicked up. Quote

Myles Garrett has 5 seasons with multiple games missed. Who wouldn’t sign him the minute he hits the market? Quote
