BRH Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Apparently Fairbairn gets a couple of feet on either side of the goalposts. Not the first time it’s happened. Quote
aristocrat Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Is this like a strike in baseball? Do the refs have their own idea of a fg? That did not look good Quote

Donuts and Doritos Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago That Texans Xtra PT was a miss. That after missing the delay of game penalty on them & a phantom pass interference call on the Colts. Indy fans are right to be upset. Quote

Donuts and Doritos Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Wow, the explanation is who are you going to believe the Refs or your lying eyes. Quote

Inside the OUTSIDE edge of the upright? Isn’t that a straight-up doink if it hits? And why can’t there be appropriate laser/camera tech to leave no doubt? I don’t wish injury on any player, but it’s hard to muster up much sympathy for Al-Shaair. 1 Quote

I've never understood that. Quote

I guess it’s like how in baseball if a ball hits the “foul” pole it’s a home run, even if the ball goes back on the field or into foul territory. But if the ball hits the upright and doesn’t go through, it’s a miss, so it’s not remotely the same thing. Quote

Iirc , Belichick was adamant about raising the goalpost height after losing on that rule to the Ravens. They did raise it, but there are no doinks above it. Quote

For a league that talks about safety as much as it does, that seems to be a no-brainer. Edited 57 minutes ago by BRH 1 Quote
