No, only if it affects his practice or playing time. And since Josh isnt coming out of that #1 spot and is full go in everything, they dont have to report any of it.

That's why every post season you hear about guys who played through fractures, tears, etc. Never stopped them so not on the injury report.

Only if it limits him in practice, I think?

if this is true, don’t the bills have to report it on he injury report?

Injuries must be reported if a player receivers specialized or targeted treatment, above and beyond the scope of average TLC, for an injury.

This is why you see guys practicing in full yet on the report. They may be doing everything at practice but are listed on the report because of their treatment to a particular area.

This may have been said but yesterday shows why there were complaints about the defense against the Texans. The offense was anaemic in the first half, but the defense kept us in it. They didn't give away a back breaking drive at the end of the half. They gave the offense time to find their footing, and stick to the original game plan. Sometimes that is required. And that was missing in Houston.

What the hell is up with you guys looking at today’s offense and trying to extrapolate through the playoffs? This isn’t the offense we are going to use the rest of the season. It was an opponent specific offense that WORKED and got us the W. Yes, we all know we aren’t going to beat many teams without an intermediate or downfield passing game. But guess what, Brady actually called a good game today and it WORKED. We needed the W, we got the W. We played to the weaknesses of the opposing defense for once. I’m not even talking about our defense which has been stepping up a bit recently. Too many of you look at one game and try and predict the next 5 from it. This is not the gameplan we will have against other teams, it worked against the Steelers so enjoy the W and re-fkn-lax a bit

Well, I was going to start a new thread called "WINTER IS COMING"!

Because what we all saw against the Steelers is exactly what's needed going forward. That Pittsburgh front defensive line is no joke, and this team outright manhandled them while rushing for 249 yards against that team in their stadium.

You know what can stop a top passing offense? That howling, blustery wind in Rich-the Ralph, err, New Era stadium is known as one of the worst venues if the winds are strong, and the snow? Does anyone else recall that Colts game a few years ago?

"And pretty alarming for Pittsburgh (6-6). On a blustery day that made passing treacherous, the Steelers knew they were going to be tested by one of the NFL's best rushing teams. They failed repeatedly. Buffalo held the ball for nearly 42 minutes and probably could have taken control earlier if not for a pair of first-half turnovers."

"The swirling winds at one of the league's trickiest venues made passing nearly impossible for both teams. Allen completed 15 of 23 for 123 yards with an interception and a 3-yard scoring toss to Keon Coleman, who returned to the active roster after being a healthy scratch the last two weeks due to disciplinary issues."

Yep, and Cook was the leading receiver!

TE's came up big a couple of times too. Pass game isn't as bad as many think. Get a couple of guys back and we could see something special heading into the playoffs. I think they're beginning to figure some things out.

I would hate to be a steeler fan. That is a bad football team with not a lot to look forward to. They are stuck in the forever 9-8 football.

But Tomlin has never had a losing season so he must be amazing.  His steak will continue on at 9-8.

The “heroic march” to middling…Jerry Sullivan used to write rinse/repeat articles for the drought along these lines…makes me shiver just to think about that life pre-JA…

I read all your comments about Joe Marino and yes, we’re all entitled to our own views. My view? He’s great! He’s one of the very best podcasters and Locked On is clearly the best sports podcast production. He’s knows the pro game so he knows when we’re not good. Like all of us, he loves the Bills. Personally, I can’t ask for more. 🤷‍♂️

Even if that happens, NE wins division based on record in division

Maybe we get some help, and the Giants pull off an upset tonight. The good news is the Giants usually stay in games with a chance to win. The bad news is they can't seem to finish and lose as all the blown leads in the 4th quarter prove.

Was anyone upset with the sequence near the end of the first half. It’s a minor annoyance given the final score but I thought it was botched pretty badly. Fourth and goal from around the three or four. Just under a minute left and Bills have all three time outs. I’m thinking kick the FG and maybe get the ball back with a chance to add three more given how poorly the Pittsburgh offense was playing. Instead, we go for the TD, call time out after looking at Steeler’s D (that ends any chance of getting the ball back), go back out and commit a penalty ending chance of going for it. Happy we got the FG but just a Keystone Kops sequence.

Also, if we miraculously do anything in the postseason it will the Bosa play that turned the season around.

With weather eliminating the downfield passing game, there's no good reason to plan on being that aggressive toward the end of the half.

I have no issue with the sequence, other than the penalty.

Dude I was LOVING it! It’s friggin Pittsburgh and we ran it down their throats! I love a physical, dominant running game but mostly to set up a deeper passing game. You have to have balance. Not in this game though. I hate Brady, he called a good game. I’m old school, run the ball and play defense will win the SB. That’s because it opens up the intermediate and deep shots. There’s nothing better than physically dominating a team like Pittsburgh who’s known for their toughness. This could be the turning point. I wnat to see a nasty, physical, aggressive team going forward. I want Joe Burrow in the dirt and on IR after next week.

Ya buddy! Welcome to the club! Finally, a poster who understands football. Ray Davis looked like a stud today too. If we can keep getting the 1 - 2 punch of Davis and Cook we will be hard to stop in December and January. Now lets get healthy with Kincaid and our O-line. Go Bills!

I’m pretty sure the penalty was intentional. They were never actually planning to go for it on 4th down. They tried to draw Pittsburgh Offside on the first attempt, then used a timeout to give themselves a second shot at it, knowing a penalty was the tradeoff if it didn’t work.

Once the penalty came - whether a false start, delay of game, or even calling a second timeout - the situation shifted from 4th-and-3 to 4th-and-8, taking any realistic chance of drawing them Offside off the table.

In the end, it was just a 5-yard penalty on what would’ve been a 22-yard field goal, pushing it back to 27 yards.

Their sequence was actually handled really well.
