oldmanfan Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It sucks, but the backups have to step up on the O line. We’re OK at LB and WR. And if Palmer and Kincaid can play that will help. Brady needs to call a good game and he and Josh have to be quicker at in game adjustment Quote
WideNine Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago 41 minutes ago, Dr. Who said: It would be nice if the OC was capable of anticipating obvious difficulties, and then building a rational game plan to counter or at least mitigate them. IMO there are coaching types and Brady may be more of the scheming kind of coach and less the intuitive adapt during a game kind. Getting the plays in late, injured or winded offensive players staying on the field when they should be subbed, needing to have that cushion from the action of calling from the booth, and effective adjustments usually happen after a decent break in the action at the half all seem to point to that kind of game processor. Those guys look like geniuses when their game plan works and look lost if they are not. Just means the HC has to know their strength and surround them with the right people to mitigate the in-game adjustment gaps. 1 Quote

I have little confidence we can do that on offense. Correct. So far there has been nothing much showing that we can. I hoping there's a plan in place. Like starting with adding more blockers than last week. Quote

The one person that can override McD’s stubbornness not to take him back is Terry. Hey, enjoy your clack Friday bud. I was going to make a quick mention this Chicago/Philly game may actually be fun. I’ve never gone to a store on Black Friday. Not for me. Would LOVE Daboll. Have a worse feeling after seeing this injury report and factoring Brady😵 Last day in Buffalo, Elma Towne Grill for a final fishfry and limp back to NC FAT. Dropping our son off in Pittsburgh for the game. Quote

chris heff Posted 28 minutes ago Posted 28 minutes ago Am I missing something? I fully understand the Bills weaknesses, I get that they are starting two backup tackles. The Steelers however are not a great team, Rogers is a not what he once was, he’s playing with a broken wrist. Do they have much of a running game, isn’t their OL, particularly its depth suspect? On defense they have a great pass rush, but it’s their secondary bad? Quote

I think Jackson Hoss needs to have about 50 snaps this game. They have a lot of options. They will be able to create pressure with 4, but likely they will also be able to lockup the WRs 1v1. 1 Quote

What makes you think that’s strength on weakness? Our teams biggest strengths are our QB, our RB and our OL, maybe in that order. and a banged up OL affects all of them, especially against the teeth of what makes that Pittsburgh D go. Is one handed Rodgers and the Steelers O any worse than the Texans backup QB or the 1-5 Dolphins? Quote

And then just go out there and play football. A plan so complex and devious it just might work! as long as ‘go out there and play football” doesn’t mean 4 quarters of bubble screens and jet sweeps Quote
