US Egg Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Curious if you’d have to fabricate some sort of base? Folks will find a way to make them display nicely. Quote

Was a bit in jest in terms of the peanuts comment. I did however watch a guy on YT who’s an expert on pro sports stadium builds and highlighted Highmark 2 is the worst he’s ever seen. Take that for what it’s worth. 2 1 Quote

From the pictures, they are making/attaching a base for the seats you will buy. Which is good, because I have a pair of seats from the late 1990's renovation, that have been sitting in a box in my basement, because I either need to design/make my own base, or find some wall space to attach them to. 2 Quote
Since1981 Posted November 27 Posted November 27 But how much will the old physical seats go at auction? I mean, talk about a man cave trophy?! Quote

I’d probably talk myself into getting mine. Lol, it’s more “why?” I can see a sports bar wanting to display them. I was at Tully’s the other day and I’m 90% sure they have old stadium seats in there somewhere. Maybe Bennigan’s will pull down some upside down unicycles and replace them with conjoined plastic chairs? It’s the personal ownership that I’m struggling with. I’ll probably get excited and waste money on mine. I’ll bring it home and put it in the garage until I “find a better place for it.” It’ll sit there for about 3 months before I start getting questions about “what do you plan to do with that?” After another 3 months I’ll start getting asked, “why don’t you put that in your office or to the curb?” Obviously, I’m not going to put it in my office because my office is nice and throwing a couple of random plastic chairs in the corner does nothing to elevate the aesthetic. Another 3 months will go by and the pressure mounts to get them out of the garage. After 3 more months, the walls have caved in and something will have to give. I’ll give them both to my developmentally disabled cousin who will think that they’re amazing. After 2 months my aunt will be all over him to get rid of them because they don’t go in his apartment. 3 days will pass and he will sell them on Facebook marketplace for $32 a piece. I’ll have to drive over to his house, load them in the car, and drive to a Wegman’s parking lot to meet the buyer so that my cousin can collect $64. He will put that $64 towards Madden ‘28. Sounds about right. Quote

US Egg Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) Here’s another Bills Highmark seat option: https://ebay.us/m/oyXLc6 Just saw the ones they’re selling. Like them both. Edited 17 hours ago by US Egg Quote
RkFast Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) My buddy got a pair of tickets from Shea Stadium when they tore that thing down. They cleaned them up repainted the metal parts and they basically looked brand new and came on a nice wood base. They have to pull the seats out of the stadium and instead of just chucking them in the dumpster they need to store them sort them clean them up paint them mount them get them ready for shipping so on and so forth. Things cost money. If you don’t want them, don’t buy them. Edited 5 hours ago by RkFast 1 1 Quote
DaVinci Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago They are crazy, 500 bucks for garbage. And a 25.00 removal fee. ALSO keep an eye out for Pegula to petition the state to somehow pay for cost overruns. Quote
Fleezoid Posted 45 minutes ago Posted 45 minutes ago After the Bills get bounced, and the Sabres are still hot trash, I think I'd pay to sit inside the stadium. Quote

Say what you want but the Bills and NYS took a lot of care and professional trying to maximize the most cost effective/fan viewing/access venue. Quote

Because people would visit it, like a football shrine. What I dont want to happen is the houston situation, the old Astrodome "7th wonder of the world" next door to Reliant Stadium, they haven't opened it up for years and cost the county $5 million/yr as it decays. I would pay to walk around the old stadium just for the memories. I assume it will be torn down and used for parking, heard that before in Heston. Edited 17 minutes ago by RoyBatty is alive Quote
