Allen was running for his life and trying desperately to find any receiver who had more than 1 INCH of separation. 

 

Allen (and Davis return TD) was the only reason we were in this game at the end. There is not a QB in history who would have played better than Allen did today given the circumstances.

Allen did not play well today. I would give him a C. Average-ish.

Brady has relegated Shakir to a behind the LOS WR, taken away Josh's threat of the run, doesn't know how to scheme players open, etc. The offense is so entirely predictable. You can crowd the LOS because EVERYTHING happens there.

End of the day not having Kincaid really hurt because Knox is just not that good and getting open.  I think if we had Kincaid tonight he would have made difference . Sacks happened because no one had enough separation and Allen had to hang onto the ball.  That is a great defence something we will never know about

That’s not the story. He tried to get waddle, and Miami was willing to deal bur wanted a pick this year instead of next year.

 

It had nothing to do with them saying no, it had to do with Beane not wanting to give up what it takes.

He knew there was a major hole and had the opportunity to get Waddle. For whatever reason, he wouldn't change that '27 1st to a '26. Like Waddle isn't worth a 1st rounder. Especially with how terrible he has been at picking in the 1st

There were Texans fans sitting around us, commenting how there was literally nothing Allen could do.

Anyone watching that game and thinking Allen was a problem at all needs to get their sobriety checked.

Allen had a fairly poor game but I agree about the receivers. There was a lot of hidden yardage in those sacks in the sense that Allen repeatedly passed up 4-5 yard sacks and instead took 8-12 yard sacks. It was frustrating to watch. He played pretty out of control, generally speaking, although of course his line and receivers didn’t help. His first pick was awful too. He had time and misread the field. He had open guys underneath. I also think he made a very poor decision going after stingley on the boundary on the final set of downs. That was a no-chance play.

McDermott needs to go.  They can’t keep scapegoating coordinators and him getting a pass. Time’s up.  Nine years is more than enough time for at least one Super Bowl trip with a player of Josh Allen’s caliber.

Why? McDermott doesn't know how to evaluate coordinators. He just wants yes men that run his preferred style of offense. Why does anyone want him to have another chance? The next coaching change needs to come from the top. Enough of this.
