This game was more about not being able to stop the Dolphins run game and not getting the Buffalo run game going.

It was both. Which means the entire team wasn’t ready to play

Missed the window with Vrabel.

We’ll see how vrabel does when parity starts eating away at them before we’re talkin windows…he couldn’t really outrace it in TEN.  overachieving a 4th place schedule is something a lot of teams have done and you have a lot of Washington commanders type situations.

they might have the goods for sure but it’s tough to tell..  I think most likely outcome is both teams trade winning the division for awhile

Josh is the consummate professional. He always says the right things in his pressers.   I just wonder what his breaking point is to finally say something off the company script?

The Beane Masterpiece:

Top highest cap hits this season

- Taron Johnson, who's been mediocre and was declining last season.

- Epenesa, your DE3 but planned DE4.

- Spencer Brown, money well spent

- Curtis Samuel, enough said.

- McGovern, well spent

- DQ Jones, 2 years removed from elite play

- Dawkins, well spent but north of 30

- Milano, enough said

- Dawson Knox, enough said

- QB1

That is a ton of money just wasted.

You can’t get down 16 and then establish the run. The Bills have to play from ahead. Miami knows that. That’s why they took the ball after winning the toss. If the Bills have the lead they can run the ball and don’t have to worry about stopping the run. You can just rush the passer. This roster can only win one way. That’s really bad when you have Josh Allen.

Vrabel is hands down a better coach than McD. Mc Daniel’s is better OC than Brady.

We missed an opportunity there, McD is wash rinse repeat.  How many reruns do you need to see before you know the ending?

Pains me as a fan of a team who doesn’t trade a lot of high picks, to see a team ship out their QB for an aging vet, trade 3+ first rounders all to win a Super Bowl…

Then when it looked that it might have caught up to them, they overhaul some key pieces, nail a couple of picks in the draft and are right back to competing again. In a tough division. With the same old QB lol

He made the super bowl with Goff too.

Vrable's best QB in Tenn. was Ryan Tannehill.  Its not like he had Josh Allen there.

Exactly… he shipped a QB he went to the SB with for an older guy lol

Traded assets for multiple years that could have out them in the hole… won it all and turned it around again.

Coaching and management really can make a huge difference.

If the season is truly in the pan and we were missing the playoffs you would expect different conversations but we can still do something, throwing the coach under the bus whether accurate or not would put the team into turmoil. Who knows how we come out of the other end of that.

Let Josh be Brett Favre 2.0 again.  At this point I would take 4 td 2 int every game.

Who is catching those 4 TDs per game? Certainly no one on this roster.

I’m sure we’ll see a couple of threads like this after that debacle, but I beg you to look at the last 15 years of the Sabres before you give Pegula an opportunity to pick a GM and HC for the Bills.  (I’ll throw in the Rex Ryan hire for good measure).  In 30 combined years of owning the two franchises, Pegula has made one - ONE- decent HC/GM hire.

I guess we shouldn't even try to win the Super Bowl because the owner has made some questionable hires for a hockey team. Sounds great.

Archane 22 carries 174 yards, 2 TDs and Tua 15 of 21 for 173 yards 2 TD, 2 INT. They couldn't stop the Dolphins run game...which ranked 30th in rush attempts, 25 in yards, 27th in rush TDs...and yet!

Buffalo needs a passing game coordinator because Joe Brady is clueless at times. This game was against the 24th ranked defense.

Considering Josh Allen is not perfect why would he go off script

There are plenty of quarterbacks in NFL history who had it much much worse off than Josh Allen

If he threw for 375 yards today and five touchdowns and we lost sure go off script.. this is not the first time Josh plays down to opponents and the entire team does

Again there's a difference between the most talented and the most consistent Josh is not the most consistent player even at 29 he can still grow in that regard

If he had four touchdowns today and we lost he'd have more griping... He was way more decisive last week then he was today
