BillytheKid Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I know some don’t like PFF but thought this was a good 14 minute video. Showing how Brady uses the Tight Ends and how good they are with them and using Cook out 12 and 13 personnel. Even though Brady gets on my nerves sometimes he does a great job for the most part. Just needs to make sure no more games like against Atlanta. 1 1 Quote

BearNorth Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Guess they have Gilliam confused with Quintin Morris. Quote
atlbillsfan1975 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Gilliam and Hawes have been excellent this year. I am waiting for a play action run fake to Cook with Gilliam being the lead and getting behind the defense for a big gain at a critical time. Quote
boyst Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think there is so much more potential on this and while I realize I'm a bum sitting on the toilet with my thoughts and Brady is a professional sitting on the coaches chair with professionals... I think we can do better. We like tight formations but spread our OL out wide. We don't always do this but we create large run lanes with our blocks when we do or let Josh scramble through more open windows when he must. With these tight formations teams pull their defense in but we don't have the speed to exploit it / do not take advantage of it. Several times in 12, often 22 (with Gilliam), or even 23 packages we can put someone taking the top off the defense and complete short passes. We could go back to the RPO we are capable of or just play action. Our running game is going to get us the furthest in the playoffs of all the things we do and protect the defense. However, we have to show the ability to pass deep and scheme the zones open. If anyone has the stats I'd like to see what defenses we are seeing predominantly, man vs zone and coverage calls because I have seen far too much man on the WRs and single high coverage to be happy. 7 minutes ago, BearNorth said: Guess they have Gilliam confused with Quintin Morris. Allen had his typical 2 game mid October skid where he reverts back to rookie Josh Allen and has happy feet, throws off a bad platform, bails out of clean pockets and doesn't take what's there but looks for more. Kinda like last year in Baltimore and Houston games. Now we will see normal Josh Allen the rest of the way. The only team that really can beat the Bills are the Bills. He turned Cook into a star. Allen rarely gets sacked. I do like that he doesn’t beat Allen into the ground like Daboll did. What i dislike like is his tendency to get cute in the worst situations. I don’t like like the fact that he can’t scheme up a deep passing game. I also think he misuses Cook in the pass game. I also think players like Gilliam and Hawes deserve a bigger role. 1 Quote

Yeah everything you said is spot on. 23 minutes ago, transient said: There's something about his name that rubs me the wrong way, but I just can't put my finger on it... 🤔 Interesting.
