The Dolphins basically quit on that Thursday night game after halftime, while the Chiefs were playing for their season potentially.

The NFL needs Lamar to be relevant. Desperately, even if he didn't earn it - the NFL needs him atop the conversations.

There is also Josh fatigue.

I blame the fans. 8 games, 8 tailgates, 8 post-game tailgates, 17 weeks of ramping up tailgating at home…..it’s a lot. Party fatigue sets in.

Yes.  It will be Ray Davis IMO.  I believe that’s what Sal said too

Which will make returns interesting.  Ray did a nice job as a returner last week.  But if he is our starting RB, I don’t think he’ll be returning kicks as well

Bad teams can be dangerous teams.  We already played them once and it was much closer than most thought it should've been.

 

The Bills sometimes have the problem of playing to the level of their competition and not being able to put teams away.

 

Not saying that's going to happen here, but they still need to bring their A game.  

 

Miami was a mess the second half of the Ravens game last week and appeared to have mailed it in.  Let's hope the Bills can put them away quickly and get some rest for some of these guys who are nursing injuries.

Duck on IR and Douglas likely out. This is the wort secondary in the NFL. Let Cook rest and light them up through the air. Keep building momentum for the passing game.

I'd expect a pretty even split with the added benefit of Ty getting more passing targets if he's on for later downs -- Ty took a goal line carry last week and converted, I don't see Davis as being the unquestioned backup in any manner

I mean Allen's performance was against one of the best D's in the NFL and Lamar's against one of the worst...so of course, they'll give it to Lamar...

 

But don't worry, Allen has racked up half of his AFC OPOTW awards against the Fins, so there is always this week...

Usually the Bills play one close game against them and one blowout. Last year the blowout came in Miami.

Is there a reason we are acting like the Bills are some "iffy" team all of a sudden that actually loses these type of games all the  time instead of wins them 90% of the time?

 

They have a record of 32-7 after the bye week since 2020...I'd put my stock in that. It shows they somewhat pace themselves early in the year and then slowly press the accelerator down as the year goes on.

No Phillips either.  That is one Dolphin that has been a pain to the Bills

Should be interesting if Bosa, Epenesa and Cook are out. 
 

Don’t want to take games for granted, and Miami was the better team first half against Baltimore if we’re being honest, but I wouldn’t mind seeing what Ray Davis, Javon Solomon and Landon Jackson can do when forced into action. 
 

With no moves made at the deadline, we’re going to need these guys to step up .. and while early results have been meh, Solomon & Davis have shown flashes and Jackson is raw enough for us to hope there’s another level he can get to by the time we reach the playoffs.

I have a hunch cook will play but Ray Davis will be the feature. 

 

I could see Bosa out but I expect up Vanessa to play. I'd love to give that guy with alopecia a chance. I'd learn his name if he actually dressed on game day. Jackson or something.
