Sure Was he the missing piece that was going to take us to the promised land? Absolutely freaking not I dunno man...for seven quarters he looked like the best pass-rusher we've had since Mario Williams. 1 5 1 Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago This injury really dampens the big win. I had turned to my wife like 3 plays before and said "Hey, Christmas gift idea. Hoecht jersey." 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I am always surprised at these Achilles injuries by pro athletes. Maybe it’s because I am an old man athlete now and have learned things the hard way, but I probably spend 20 minutes every night just stretching my Achilles, and then do 20 minutes more of that Achilles stretching before I play hoops (which I do 3-4 times per week). And on top of that, I wear Achilles braces while playing all sports, including sports as low impact as pickleball and golf. 1 Quote
zow2 Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago The week to week injuries we can overcome. The season enders are horrible. I think going forward they need to keep Bosa on a pitch count. He played a lot today. Big game. but they must have him healthy when it really counts 1 Quote

For the first time ever we consistently got Mahomes on the ground while he was on the field. 3 Quote

He was the missing piece to getting over the hump. He brought pressure from many different spots and helped Bosa and Epenesa get open for more sacks. I wasn’t even that worried about the Oliver loss because we had Hoecht. Now with both of them gone not feeling good about it. Dorian Williams takes Hoechts place on rushing from the inside. Quote
McMuffin Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago It’s like we’re trained to expect the loss of important players on defense. It doesn’t matter if it’s pregame warmups, working out in the gym, walkthroughs, 1 second left in the game, or going out for ice-cream. Who gets injured this week? This is so frustrating. Quote

He did stay on the field... if it's a partial tear he could be good by next September. Edited 7 hours ago by Wiz Quote
Awwufelloff Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Hoecht looked so good, this injury hurts. First Oliver and now this. Quote

It sounds like Oliver could be back for the playoffs. If we can stay relatively healthy now, and get some guys back, we'll be in good shape. Every team loses a really key guy or 2 by the end. Bummed, though. He gave us a lot. Quote
