Amari Cooper and Gabe Davis are 2 that come to mind. Especially Gabe Davis who is only 26 ! I really thought he would be (at the least) a role player here for a very long time. Robert Foster was on a HOF track his rookie season 1 1 Quote
Cray51 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Something I've noticed watching those games from prior years, having a top 5 WR in the game was special. Allen had a guy who could catch a ball on the boundary in tight coverage while getting their feet down. I'd love a Justin Jefferson, Chase, Diggs, etc. It puts so much more pressure on Allen, but these guys are just so hard to add to a team who has been a sustained contender. 1 Quote

Do you guys remember this offense? Also, I think that they activated Gabe this week to see his status before the Nov 4 trade deadline to see if they need to make a trade. This is all on Brandon. He needs to return to his roots in Norwood, North Carolina, regroup and move on. Quote

Gabe definitely had some inconsistencies and weeks without any impact, but yes, I do miss those games where he played big. Maybe he can get back to that level? Quote

In case no one was noticing, Pats Schedule is currently ranked as the least difficult [32/32] schedule, Bills schedule is next to last [31/32] in difficulty. The Atlanta loss was a major coaching fail on both sides of the Ball. Can't afford any more of those. 1 Quote

Allen will turn it up when the games matter. As in, win or go home matter. He wants to escape the pocket now, but you can tell he is trying to throw at all costs instead of going through a corner or running around a DE. That will change when we get to January, 100% Honestly thinking the same thing... probably foolish... but somewhere in the back of my mind I feel like are we just not showing everything right now? Probably foolish again... but it seems that way... at least a bit... I do think when it comes playoff time, or if we are in a fight for the playoffs the gloves will come off Josh... Quote
TheBrownBear Posted 23 minutes ago Posted 23 minutes ago Wow. That's an exciting video. Now somebody post a video of all of Josh's arm punts that were intended for Gabe. Quote

Apparently no OC in the NFL knows how to beat it either. Its full proof. It's also funny looking at the formations from back then. They are almost identical to what Brady is currently doing. Daboll just used more motion, had multiple outcomes for the same look, and had better personnel. Mahomes and Reid couldn’t figure out their offense when they had garbage weapons. Now they have better weapons and they suddenly have miraculously figured out cover 2. Quote

And the highlights didn't include his 2 spectacular toe tap sideline catches against Indy in the playoff game. Of course we have no idea if that Gabe Davis is still available but we do know that his production from the last few years has NOT been replicated through the draft or by FA signings. Quote

The Bills were right to let him go and not pay him 13 million dollars per year. But the point is that the Bills have not replaced Davis's production at WR either in the draft or though FA signings. I agree and was just pointing out the flipside of highlight videos. I'm actually looking forward to Gabe's return at this point and want to see him taking Keon's reps. Gabe, Shakir and a healthy Palmer might be a serviceable enough WR corps to get the passing game moving again. Quote
