No way both McGovern and Edwards are re-signing.  I'm guessing both may end up in FA next year.

Right now, Bosa will be a priority, and those guys will be cap casualties.  Maybe McGovern but I doubt it.

The young guys will have to step up at C and LG.

If Epenesa want to sign for reasonable money I can see that.

IMO, which isn't worth much.

If the worst happens and Beane needs more money he can get a couple 100k from a few players.

I think there is a 95% chance that both McGovern and Edwards won't both be back.  I do think there is a somewhat decent chance 1 of them is.  McGovern has already confirmed that there were some talks before the season but nothing got done and it was put on the back burner.  But, because of these talks, at least the Bills know what his ask is and what a potential contract could look like.  So, I do think McGovern might be the slight favorite over Edwards to get re-signed, but it is possible that neither of them do.  Unfortunately, we can't pay everyone.

Bosa is interesting because I think even though he's been healthy to this point, you always know in the back of your mind what the history is and he is 30 now.  How many years are you willing to go?  Can you get him to sign an incentive-laden deal?  He has said on multiple occasions now how much he loves it here and how happy he is to play here.  How much money is he going to ask for?  That's an interesting situation.

AJ is the guy so many have wanted out of here for a while now.  He's having his best season of his career.  But what AJ do you get going forward if you do pay him?  How much is a guy with really only this season of consistent production actually worth.  This is a contract you could get burned on if you are not careful.

I don't know.  It all depends on what Beane is looking at and has the option to do.  I am willing to bet there are offers on the table that some of us would absolutely jump at whereas he won't.  This is where not having access to these conversations and offers is really frustrating as fans.

Good to know the Ravens haven't totally given up on the season, I guess.

Nor should they considering all that stands between them and first in the North is an Ayahuasca drinking senior citizen in Pittsburgh.

Douglas fantastic? 😂 Don’t think so.

You have a short memory, friend lol. Last year he was very bad but the year before he was great…not really sure what happened to him.  He’s had a pretty nice bounce back in Miami.  Hasn’t really reached the highs of two years ago but he has been much better than last year

If their GM is not willing to trade in the division, even if he is interim, should be fired for malpractice. Should be maximizing the return, period.

Miami probably has a multiple-year re-stock going.  If trading any players in 2025 to the Bills, Patriots, or Jets bite them in the ass in 2028, then their rebuilt team isnt really rebuilt.

Return on investment is not only about what you get back in return.

It's also about not trading a player to a team that you play against twice a year.

I've never seen Phillips line up standing at the 1T and loop.  He's an edge rusher.  They brought in phillips because they aren't getting enough from Uche, and they brought graham back out of retirement because they knew they needed edge pressure.

And because Za'Darius Smith retired.

He was very good and I’m crushed by his loss, but this statement couldn’t be further from the truth.  He was great….but Bosa was a monster. Rousseau was winning, bishop was a demon, cam Lewis played very solid, Hairston had the clamps on, epenesa created pressure.  The dl as a whole, dominated.  They stayed disciplined and stayed in their rush lanes and overwhelmed Mahomes. He had nowhere to go most of the night

I'm not a big Rousseau fan but yesterday's game was one of the best I remember him as a Bill.

This felt like a straight up fluke play as far as pass rush goes at least.  Bosa could’ve moonwalked in for a sack in fact it was so easy for him that he figured he was getting played by the chiefs and hesitated for a second or two lol.

Chiefs blew the blocking assignment so badly that it worked out in their favor 😂. Bosa would’ve felt awful if we ended up losing the game I’d imagine

Yeah that was a weird play. I didn't quite get Bosa's reaction... him retreating and circling back.

No just on TV, what’s your point? He’s made calls about every available FA and all I hear is how much cap space we have currently. Will you be asking about how confident he is when he says we’re good with what we have. Tell me about how we’re set up to win with the way this roster has been constructed. Being a good fan doesn’t mean you support crappy management and criticize detractors.. I swallowed that stuff for 2 decades. No more

I admire that you've drawn a line in the sand and simply aren't gonna put up with Beane's crap anymore. Your determination is formidable and I can definitely see him buckling under the weight of your pressure. I'm assuming an all night vigil until the deadline?

I absolutely love Dorian Williams. His usage is maddening. You got guys that can play on the bench and wastes like Bernard, Tre white and Tarron Johnson glued to every mistake on the field

I was watching the game yesterday and admiring Dorian Williams... even though we all know his persistent weaknesses as a player... I'm glad to see the Bills scheming him for success. Seeing him kamikaze into the opposition play after play reminded me of watching guys like Carwell Gardner and Butch Rolle on the Super Bowl era Bills. These games are very violent and Dorian is a warrior. You want guys like that getting meaningful snaps and playing to their strengths.

So you’re criticizing not making moves while the trade deadline is still open

Yes, it's been quite a persistent crysade.

I’ll guess Sebastian Joseph Day & Shaheed

We've got 3.35m give or take after the Taron restructure.

Shaheed will cost us 2.1m. I think given the size of Day's contract (unclear the exact amount as Spotrac's Trade Machine won't pull the number for him), we would need to find more money for him plus Shaheed than we have right now.

However, T'Vondre Sweat would cost $614,601 in acquired cap. So we could fit Shaheed and Sweat on with just the Cap Space we have now.

That's where my head is at with possible multiple moves with what we have (and what's realistic) - Rashid Shaheed and T'Vondre Sweat.

I’d like Sweat, but he doesn’t strike me as the Bills “type” plus we have shown interest in Day before. A visit if I recall

Just getting Day would work with what we’ve got now but idk how much the wr wanting crowd(which is like everyone) would like that 😁 there def could be another restructure they’re ironing out and it could be multiple trades for sure though

That's fair. And they probably would go the safer route, though I feel Sweat has more upside and we'd have him beyond this season.

The Spotrac Trade Machine won't pull numbers for him bc they don't consider him a "Trade Candidate" like they do Sweat. Though this dude seems to believe his number is just under a million, which would still work:
