Is Gabe even healthy enough to play right now?

His knee is still bad.  courtesy signing to Practice squad I think. Maybe done this year....maybe available end of season.

holy nonsense. i am too lazy to reply with the fun you had because you're not worth it. thanks for all of the obvious mind reading of the OBD staff which is quite the feat because many thought neither could be done due to the lack of that subject in thereof aforementioned, you.

the nflpa says that teams must be out of the workplace for 4 weeks - k

he was away from the team for 4 days - tell that to the ravens who began full practices this past monday. 4 days ago... 4....day...s...a.go.

i sound like a whiny tua all the time? which is weird you pay attention to me because i have absolutely no idea who you are but its nice knwoing you're in my fan club. i will send autographed picture to you immediately.

but it's a romper room at obd i just read!!!!! lol

it's insane how this team's office is restructuring the narrative due to piss poor planning.

wow man - you truly are a prize. Pass the dutchee. Better yet, take a break.

It just keeps getting better... And if that's the case why wait?

Because they have until saturday.  No reason to do it now if they are still unsure

Erik Turner at Cover 1 said he was running along with Max during his rehab. Not sure how far along that makes him. But I don't think it's a bad sign.

Probably career ending (meniscus tear), but they took a flier on him anyways for team morale building.

The Bills are losing my interest for the first time in years.  I just cant take this team seriously.

Actually insane to think I’m almost in the same boat right now. We’ve had some down moments in prior years, but this just feels very different right now. I’m nervous to invest any emotion in this organization right now.

I’m hoping this is all an overreaction, and the Bills will come out firing after the bye… but per above… it just doesn’t feel hopeful right now.  Beane took some huge gambles, and it appears we may lose on them.

It infuriates me that the Chiefs just keep winning, year after year after year after year… no matter who is in their lineup.  To me, so much of that comes down to coaching and preparation. They’re as consistent as they come.

Ya... I thought they were getting an extra week with the bye but it's 4 games not 4 weeks... My bad...

I say dont.  Miss the playoffs and brun it down / rebuild.  QB, RB and OL are in place.

Maybe another year.  Not this one.

There are no standout teams, and we're still right in the mix.  If we get healthy & hot in December & January, we could make a strong run in the playoffs.

Meniscus tears are NOT career ending.

McD says "We'll see" for just about everything.

I don't know if this is really a story. He said the same thing about activating Hairston.

We'll see..... 😂

Gabe wasn't fleet of foot before the injury.  2025 is probably his last NFL paycheck.

So if it's a possibility then why does it take two weeks to discover it's a possibility.

That's embarrassing.

They were seeing how it healed over the last two weeks. Now at this point they are figuring out his time frame based on where the injury is now...seems logical.

Could we really not trade for a WR because of organizational arrogance?

Or is it that they simply can't find a way to make it work w/ the cap?  I'd certainly trade a higher pick to get the trade partner to take on some of the contract for a year...

Perhaps this will bring added urgency to a potential trade for WR ?

Wouldn’t it be nice if we didn’t have to worry about WR depth every season. If only there were some type of draft for us to stock up on young cost controlled pass catchers

A. The wgr worries are so overblown. Beane isn't thinking about it, and certainly isn't making decisions as a result of it.

B. Intentionally putting this out there decreases our leverage in a trade. The worse position were in the more a team is going to want for their asset

C. That means the injury is real and a real concern. Could naturally create extra urgency to go after a WR

Agree to disagree. No one likes to be shown they were wrong, least alone on a national stage. Now, that's not to say if there was a good deal to have been had he would have passed on it. But it definitely makes it an easier pill to swallow if he does make a move.

It definitely would. Beanes draft approach seems strange when WR contracts have increased massively in recent years. It’s an odd place to try to fill holes with FA’s.
