Would you trade the Bills roster (except Josh Allen) for Ohio State's.

  1. 1. We'd have two future superstar receivers in Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate; and a future pro bowl safety in Caleb Williams.

    • Keep Bills roster
      49
    • Trade for Ohio State's
      10

Do you really think a college team can beat a NFL team?  Lol

In this case, THE Ohio State is superior to every other college school as a top Div 1 Big 10 University. It is the best school in all of the land and better by far than any and all schools north of it.

And they'd still lose to the Titans.

I don’t understand the question still. Are we asking if Ohio State could beat the Bills today? Of course not. That’s dumb.

Are we asking if the players on their roster are better TODAY than the guys on the Bills? If so, the answer is definitely (Downs, Tate, Smith). They would instantly be the best 2 WRs and best safety on the team. Reese, Styles, Igbinosun, McDonald and Curry would play meaningful snaps. There are many other guys that would play some and lots of others that will someday be good NFL players.

Is the question, “if every guy on Ohio State’s roster were in the prime of his NFL career and they played against the Bills right now who is better?” I don’t know. They would have superstars and borderline NFL players mixed with some guys that are role players. There are way too many variables to figure that out. You need hindsight for that.

I was literally skimming this thread to see if anyone had posted this yet.

Thank you.

As to the Wiz's point.  I can't believe there are Buffalo Bills fans who think the team is that bad.

The funniest part is bringing up a "charity" all-star game as some sort of "evidence".

Forget about Ohio State, tell Beane to watch KC/ Vegas. It’s obvious that KC with Rice, Worthy,Brown and Kelce have much better offensive weapons than us. After watching Coleman be neutralized in 2 or 3 straight games, ask yourself who besides Shakir are we throwing to. Moore has been invisible, Palmer is ok but Brady has not used him, Samuels never plays and Shaver shouldn’t be on the roster. Kincaid is good but this is the perfect formula to get Josh trying to do too much and getting TOs as a result. If we don’t add to the roster count on frustration for another year.

Every single year this happens. Dumbest crap ever.

Might just be an interesting way to discuss good college players from osu. Josh to Carnell Tate looks dope. What do you think?

This has to be the dumbest post I have ever read on here. How many NFL players does Ohio State have on their roster?

10 if they are lucky?

Dude, Ohio State probably has 30+ future NFL players on their roster.  Every starter will either be drafted or signed as a UDFA in the next three years.  They probably have 5-10 first round picks starting right now, and several others who are Frosh or Sophomores who aren’t playing yet.

I wouldn’t even trade the guys on our practice squad plus the guys we all will know will end up there (Eli Ankou, Jefferson, the usual suspects) for their team.

You don’t follow college football much, do you?  Most of the guys on our practice squad would not come close to breaking into OSU’s starting lineup.  It’s possible that every one of ISU’s starters will be drafted in the next three years. The top college teams these days have very few “future insurance salesmen” in the lineup.

I am talking right now. Which is what the question is being posed as since we are talking about trading rosters.

Even with 30 NFL players, if we are projecting out a few years, that means they would have 23+ players they'd need to replace.

Also if the Bills played Ohio State, Allen would be in a hat on the sidelines midway thru the 2nd quarter. It would not be a close game.

I never said OSU would beat the Bills.  I was responding to the ridiculous comment that OSU has only 10 NFL-caliber players in the current roster.

For context, they had 14 guys drafted this past draft. They currently have 5 projected 1st rounders and a bunch more guys getting drafted. They have NFL players everywhere and that’s not changing in the NIL era. They only bring in the best talent in the nation. They often sit for a little while but then go to the NFL. For example, Julian Sayin was locked in a QB battle until August. He currently has the 3rd best Heisman odds. The guys “on their bench” aren’t there because they aren’t future stars. They are sitting behind guys a year or 2 closer to the NFL.

My take is it's a jab at the lack of elite players on THE Buffalo Bills vs. potentially elite players on Ohio State.

For example, Jordan Hancock (Bills’ 5th round pick) wasn’t even a full time starter last year for OSU…
