Avisan Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Dread it, run from it, Elite Dragon Joe Flacco vs. the Steelers arrives all the same. 2 Quote

The slightest amount of pressure prevents the run up. Another example of dumb coaches in the NFL. Sure its an uncommon play but you dont allow the QB to set up to throw and all his receivers all that time to get into position and make a catch possible. Yet time after time you see teams do this. McD and co have been especially bad at this. What's even more incredible is that the Bengals coach did it against Rodgers when he is the absolute master of the Hail Mary throw!! How dumb can you get! Higgins wasn’t even open 1-on-1 and Flacco just threw a lollipop up and Higgins adjusted while it was mid-air and ran under it. Literally “Higgins down there somewhere”. agree. On a related note, My buddy who is a Steelers fan was complaining about the CB coverage last night on that play. That was perfect coverage! Higgins is just so good— he’s going to just adjust and catch that. 1 hour ago, Mr. WEO said: I disagree. Flacco threw tight spirals into small windows all night—and Chase, great as he is, dropped 2 perfect passes. Browning was certainly considered semi-competent and he did nothing with those 2. Flacco was on fire well, I did say Flacco played great. But even he admitted that it was like being a kid in a candy store throwing to those two guys. 2 Quote
thenorthremembers Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Lost on a 3 leg parlay because Rodgers was butt hurt. Metcalf needed 10 more yards for me to win. Quote

I couldnt help but think watching that game how superior both defenses were to ours in their pass coverage and even with that both defenses were being picked apart by two vet Qbs. It also points to how much better the offensive game plans and schemes are to our amateur hour Brady show. Both QBs looked like they were playing in 2012 not 2025! 1 Quote

The Browns are a reminder to all of us that the so called experts are not so expert at all. I mean consider that the Browns: * bailed on Mayfield when his performance issues were entirely injury related. Now the guy is a clear top 10 NFL QB. * signed Watson * drafted a QB in the 3rd & then in the 5th round with the 5th round QB being at the center of a media circus. * traded Flacco, their only hope of winning games, to a division rival. And that is just at the QB position. Quote
corta765 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Lol tackling your 40 year old starting QB is not the best idea Quote

Pretty much any criticism anyone can say about the Browns is valid and correct. 1 hour ago, Simon said: Flacco repeatedly getting the ball out in 1.8 seconds would be my guess Have 2 of the best WRs in the league. Call quick slants. Also have coaches that identified Pittsburgh's trend to bracket WRs, and have a plan in place for when they do. They managed to have Flacco prepared for that situation in mere days (hours really), and he hits the big shot to Iosivas the one time they do it. We have no WRs, no slants, and no one is prepared for what the opposing D does... Quote
Low Positive Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Those slants and screens that everyone who watched the Bengals for the first time this year are crediting to offensive genius Zac Taylor only started being called in the second half of the GB game. It only took the genius 14 quarters to stop calling plays like Joe Burrow was out there. I guess better late than never. Quote

paulmm3 Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago That hail mary from Rodgers at the end of the game was farther than any QB in the league has thrown a live ball in at least 8 years. Pretty wild Quote
