Cook is the ONLY other offensive player on this roster we can consider to be truly “elite” 

 

And they REFUSE to trust him in high pressure situations.

He had 17 carries which is actually a bit over his norm of 15 throughout prior games this season and both are higher than his 13 or so carries per game last year.

 

I want the offense to run through him more and really wish he was involved in passing which has all but disappeared, but we gotta get our Cook facts straight - they are running him more right now.

I don’t think it’s about his touches. I am more in line with you have to make the defense respect that James Cook may be getting the ball. That may have been enough to freeze defenders on those two miserable short yardage plays they failed on tonight…..well, at least one. The Bills can’t even successfully run a jet sweep no matter who is on the field.

I love Cook and don't blame him. He wants to be out there helping his team when they need him most.

Fully agree, just noting that he actually touched the ball in line with norms. They just didn’t use him right we’re in agreement  - you have to make teams respect James Cook.

 

More for the Brady fire really. He called a terrible game.

James Cook. We love him. However, he's not built like a big bruiser to take 20+ carries. He's not in the same class, physically, as Marshawn Lynch, Adrian Peterson, Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, and Jerome Bettis.

 

It's ok to sit out especially in a losing game. Why bother?

 

Let the coach make the decision. Cook is lucky that the coach made the decision to "bench."

There are about 5 humans on earth that can do what Cook can do with a football in his hands and he is on the sideline on 3rd and 4th down!

He turned his 17 carries tonight into 81 yards. An incredibly solid 5.1. Feed him more. He went overlooked and yet showed a new side of his talent tonight - what Chiefs fans want Pacheco to be. Available and chain moving 

 

I don’t think you’re allowed to doubt James Cook at this point, and said that 30 TD ago. Run the offense through him, let Josh get right.

I think he’s actually one of the uniquely talented backs to take that many touches right now, they need to rely on him more. We’re on the same page, I just think they need to go into Cook overload. 1800+ Cook yards. Now

I'm not sure where you're seeing how we're an AFC playoff ready team. We have no defense. Usually, teams, without a quality defense, don't go far in the regular season. They definitely don't win any games in the playoffs if they're lucky to reach that.

They do take him off the field at times when playing from behind here and there but not entirely like they did today.
