The "Fire McDermott and Beane" crowd and the "Bills suck" crowd (who were abused children, BTW) are going to have a heyday with their posts this week. The "I told you so's" will be unbearable, even more unbearable than a Patriots fan or a WGR caller.

 

 

I am a TOLD YOU SO. Not on One Bills Drive but in my own home. I was also NOT abused as a child. Other than your obvious issue I would hope your not related to a member of the Bills staff. Nor on the gambling train. 

 

I will have to repaint my house after last night as the paint has so peeled off the walls I may have to also gut the drywall. Thats and the F bombs I dropped on our offensive play calls. Wassup with those useless "Jets Sweeps" that have resuted in two fumbles and one huge loss the last three times they were used. 

 

[1] McDermotts defense even when stocked with decent players in their prime NEVER got it done. See Houston playoff 2019 and later. 

[2] Other than Allen, Brandon Beanes drafts have been BUSTS as this team has no other superstar. Look at other teams rosters. His draft demise accelerated since the departure of Brian Dabol, Joe Schone [NY Giants] and Dan Morgan [Carolina Panthers].  Beane is nothing more than an Administrator who obviously doesnt get it as his former staff did and they also wiffed on multiple players [Zay Jones]. Hes useless running on fumes. Fire him Terry. Sooner rather than later. His scouts are terrible. To trade a #1 with your arch enemy is weird. Only someone who is "off" would do that. When that happened I could only think of someone taking a bribe. Its almost as bizarre as the 13 seconds defensive scheme.

[3] Some people areblessed with being able to see trough the glitz and galm of the pompoms. I also am not a fan of some drunk smashing a table like WWF or mustard man Pinto Beans. I am pragmatic and see it like many others. You dont and I am sorry for that as if you did we would band together and get Terry to fix it. 

 

I say FIRE Brandon Beane and the Scouts as the Bills Player Personnel CANT get any worse

Beanes drafts have not been good. I would even entertain a debate that no other qb besides allen would have worked here.

 

I think baker, lamar or mahomes wouldnt have lasted to their contract extensions.

 

Allen's rookie year no receivers, a very up and down te in clay and a slightly below average rb

You’re asking the wrong guy lol I’m super respectful to people and feel like I’m a very reasonable and informed poster. I watch as much football as humanly possible I try to bring intelligent conversation to the board and I’m on every day. It was actually very surprising and frustrating TBH

At this risk of being unacceptably positive, the last time the Bills really had their backs against the wall (end of '23) after that Eagles loss and the Dunne article... they played like their hair was on fire the rest of the way.

 

It's early and we're flawed but so is everyone else! amirite?

 

I do get bad vibes if the head coach and offensive stars are souring on the o-coord, publicly.

There can be no SB win this year. You can't have a defence this poor and be contenders, surely.

probably not a popular take, but I absolutely loved the formations and motions the falcons ran. Amazing job of getting Bijan in space. CJ Spiller would be proud!

Just another unacceptable game from a focus, being ready to play standpoint and honestly just being prepared.

 

Same crap heading into the bye as last year. 

 

We know how they responded and I expect them to do the same again, but c'mon. Why do they always have to go thru this and waste their opportunity to build an insurmountable lead for the 1 seed?

 

I mean how the hell do you line up Offside on the first play of the game which negates a turnover that could have turned the tide of the whole game?? Instead Atlanta scored a TD and starts feeling pretty good.

 

I'm also sick of these idiotic 3rd and short calls to do some sort of reverse where we can't even exchange the ball clean leading to a turnover or punt.

 

How about just have Allen shnowplow twice if needed?? I mean it's a game they needed to have and they act like they can just waste time calling "cute" plays again.

 

I don't know why Allen didn't just call his own number there to be honest and say F you Brady.

 

Honestly this team has started playing like the Sabres, maybe they need to stop going to their games and hanging out with them...clearly they are bringing the Bills down and they aren't lifting them up.

I would say that Cook & Brown were excellent picks, Shakir & Torrence were good picks and Kincaid may emerge as a good pick. So on the offensive side of the ball you have the potential of one elite RB; one elite RT, a very good slot WR & Guard and a very good TE. That seems like slim pickings for 7 years of drafting.  And it looks even worse on the defensive side of the ball.

6 weeks is enough to get a good feel for the team and this team is in trouble.

 

Josh hasn’t played well the last couple weeks, he’s got that glazed look he gets and has lost some fire. What that exposes is just how awful we are when 17 doesn’t play at an MVP level. We are bottom half of the league. Once again, all the weight/pressure is on his shoulders and he’s cracking. Happy feet, bad decisions, forcing the ball, deer in the headlights look. No bueno. Something has to change over the bye week.

 

I’m at the point where if this regime doesn’t make the Super Bowl, I think we should clean house top to bottom at the end of the season. Get some new minds in there while Josh still has the second half of his career in front of him. The league has caught up to our defense to the point it’s laughable how bad they are. Offensively the years of neglect combined with Brady being in over his head have come home to roost.

 

Super Bowl or Bust! Otherwise clean house.

Blown out at Baltimore followed by one of the worst games for a QB in the modern era against Houston...

 

And then we lost 2 more times all year and once was a meaningless loss when Allen didn't play the last game and we rested tons of players.

I agree and in fact over the last 4 seasons the Bills have been 7 - 6; 6 - 3; 6 - 6 & 3 - 2.  So 4 - 2 doesn't seem so bad on paper. But if they pull out of this funk and go on a division winning, #2 seed run only to lose in the divisional round again the Bills would appear to be living the movie Groundhog Day.
