Turtle Wax now a league sponsor.  All footballs receive two coats paste wax before game usage.

You can tell that Gabriel spent a lot of time throwing to Bond with the second team in practice. He is looking for nobody else on passing plays.

Teams are really coaching the punch-out. I think some of the poor tackling across the league is because defensive players are more concerned with forcing fumbles than wrapping guys up.

I’ve always felt it was an underutilized technique like the lateral. 

Browns are looking sharp. Glad that clown Watson is not starting anymore so I can root for them.

Every time I’d see the London games I’m reminded of two fantastic trips we took to see the Bills play at both Wembley and Tottenham. Yes, we lost the games….but if you haven’t done it yet I highly recommend making the trip. It’s a blast! (And if you look in the stands today, you’ll see that they’re packed with Vikings and Browns fans, with everyone having a really good time.)

Cleveland has had such a good defense the last few years. If they had anything resembling an NFL level offense they would have been going deep in the playoffs IMO. This Judkins kid is really good tho

The potential for disaster is high, because if those guys could throw, they would be getting paid 20 million to be backup QBs instead of 10 million to be stud RBs.

Moving my random thoughts over to this thread, seems more appropriate, since I’m watching Browns vs Vikings. Every time they show Jim Schwartz I get irritated. Schwartz’s defense just stuffed Vikings on 3rd and 1.

The Vikes/Browns is a really competitive game so far.  I'm pleasantly surprised.  I was planning on bailing if it got out of hand but both offenses are handicapped by less than ideal QBing.   Wentz is what he has always been since his third season:  meh.  Gabriel has looked better than I expected.

After 9 seasons in the league, Wentz is just a terrible processor…still seeing ghosts.

When I saw Gabriel play at Oregon I checked his height because there had to be a reason he wasn’t in early first round consideration. 5’11”. So third round makes a lot of sense. Murray is 5’10-1/8”. Even with his running ability I didn’t understand Arizona spending the first overall pick on him.
