You are absolutely right. We are going to need him big time. Especially if Rousseau continues his current slump later in the season. 
 

Your other point of him staying healthy will be meaningful in the playoffs I completely agree with.

I also like the fact that he mentioned stealing some 1st & 2nd down snaps in 1st & 2nd quarter. I take it as someone steals those snaps from him. That's good plan for a tight games. Unfortunately there is no one else capable of holding the edge better than him and Groot right now. So I don't know that plan is ever going to work.

Joey Bosa is at 163 snaps - 41 per game.  Verse, who is graded just above Bosa has played 275 snaps - 55 per game [1 more game].

Verse is 24 years old.

Verse is much younger get but feel like a lot of people think Bosa is older than he is. He’s not Von in his mid 30s he just turned 30 right before training camp. He is the same age as Myles Garrett, TreyHendrickson, TJ watt

When I think back, I do remember Bosa having problems getting burned on the edge as a Charger. I think that’s probably going to continue. We’ll live.

Greg Rousseau needs to step and help this defense and let Bosa be a situation pass rusher in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

He has been awesome. It is so nice to have a good pass rusher versus just a good defensive end. He actually finishes and makes splash plays.

I was ecstatic when we picked Bosa up. My favorite signing of the offseason. The ultimate boom or bust player. And man he is booming. I hope McDermott & Babich don’t run him into the ground by week 11.
