frostbitmic Posted September 22 Posted September 22 Is there any way that both teams could get a LOSS ? ... Who am I kidding, this will probably be the game of the year, 100+ points scored, nail biter til the end. Quote

They get at least 1 or 2 SNF games every year because of "the market" which is stupid. When is the NFL gonna realize people are gonna watch their games regardless and stop putting terrible teams on primetime because of "big markets"? 1 Quote

They’re always average yet they show up on SNF against the Viking or Packers in a random November game. The nfl should just have the giants play the bears every year week 2 of SNF just to get their quota over with Quote

All 3 of them have been bad forever. They need to stop with the big market thing. They act like no one will watch if it's Jacksonville at Green Bay Quote

People will watch small - medium market teams as long as they're good. Yes, teams like the Cowboys will draw viewers regardless, but people prefer watching good teams! Look at the NFL games with the highest ratings last season (non-playoff / non-holiday): 1) Chiefs vs Bills - 31.1 million viewers 2) Chiefs vs Ravens - 29.2 million viewers 3) Chiefs vs Bengals - 27.9 million viewers 4) Ravens vs Cowboys - 27.3 million viewers 5) Chiefs vs 49ers - 27.1 million viewers 6) Packers vs Vikings - 26.4 million viewers 7) Packers vs 49ers - 25.2 million viewers 8 ) Eagles vs Ravens - 25.2 million viewers 9) Chiefs vs Falcons - 25.1 million viewers 10) Bears vs Commanders - 24.9 million viewers 11) Eagles vs Cowboys - 24.6 million viewers 12) Lions vs Packers - 24.2 million viewers 13) Chiefs vs Chargers - 24.2 million viewers 14) Lions vs Cowboys - 24.1 million viewers 15) Bills vs Rams - 24 million viewers So yes, the Cowboys appear 3 times on that list, but teams like the Bills, Chiefs, Packers, Ravens, Vikings, Bengals, etc. all show up on there. That being said, teams like the Cowboys, Giants & Bears draw a high average viewership. Checkout the viewership data from last year. It proves small market teams still draw good viewership as long as they're good (but also that Cowboys / Giants will draw no matter what). 1 Quote

Gregg Posted September 23 Posted September 23 I see the Dolphins are wearing their rivalry jerseys vs the Jets this coming Monday. I think the Bills rivalry jersey looks much better. https://www.gridiron-uniforms.com/GUD/controller/controller.php?action=teams-season&team_id=MIA&year=2025 Quote

Id like yo see that bottom chart jn reference to the number of people in their traditional markets. Like Detroit airs in most of lower Michigan's TV markets. Buffalo generally only airs in Rochester, elmira, Syracuse ( most). The population does not count Canadians. Quote

Some very bad DL play, along with committing that roughing the punter penalty which all but sealed the game. 1 Quote
