Gregg Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Am I the only one here who thinks Glenn looked like an idiot running down the sidelines jumping up and down like a cheerleader when the Jets blocked the kick and took the lead 27-26. I get he was excited but there was still about 1:40 left on the clock and Mayfield brought the Bucs back in weeks 1 and 2 late in the game. As the HC he shouldn't act like a cheerleader when the game is far from over. 1 Quote

I'm surprised no one is saying Daboll and Shoen blew it by not keeping him, along with Saquon, of course. Dart might ultimately be the answer, but with Jones in place, they could have used that 25th pick on a player that could have helped them right away. IMO, the Colts were a good team in need of a QB. They have a pretty good defense, a really good OL, decent receiving options, and a great runner in Taylor. Jones, so far this season, has given them good QB play. 1 Quote

You don't allow guys fighting to save their jobs make those decisions. Let's hope Baltimore loses tonight and one of the Chiefs/Ravens are 1-3 after next week. Unfortunately, my head says Baltimore wins tonight and they probably lose to KC next week. Not because the Chiefs are better. But because, regular or postseason, Reid has simply owned Harbaugh. Mahomes has owned Lamar. He's top 5 for me. Allen Mahomes Lamar Burrow Hurts Mahomes space Allen Lamar space Herbert or Goff Quote

Surprised me to hear about Herbert getting hot-take MVP buzz, but it doesn't surprise me to hear it about Mayfield considering the ending of the first 3 Bucs games. He's dragging them over the finish line. Clearly too good for the Browns to keep around. 1 1 Quote

I think they are one of the older teams in the NFL and they have a lot of vet guys that are injury prone to begin with. It's a shame because they are uber talented when healthy but they just can't stay healthy. Despite the 3-0 start its been a fairly soft schedule for them and I think they will likely need to start thinking of a mini-rebuild of their roster next season. Quote

Goff got to a SB, and remember the Rams traded him to be a "bridge" until they found their guy. Turns out, he is their guy lol. He looked fantastic last night. Herbert, well yeah I get the anti-hype, but season #2 with Harbaugh, he's going to be just fine, watch. LAC will only improve as the season wears on. 1 Quote

I wouldn't leave him out of my top 5. He's clutch, and he elevates the players around him. He should probably be in any early MVP conversations, too. Herbert has a lot of passing yards, so this early, he's going to get lots of MVP hype. 5 hours ago, billsfan89 said: I think they are one of the older teams in the NFL and they have a lot of vet guys that are injury prone to begin with. The Niners have been suffering from significant numbers of serious injuries to key players almost every year that Shanahan has been HC. In Shanahan's 8 full seasons as HC, the team has missed the playoffs 4 times, and at least 3 of those times (2018, 2020 and 2024) were because of injuries. Plus they've had numerous significant injuries even when they have made the playoffs, just maybe not quite so much to critical personnel. In their last SB appearance, they lost Greenlaw to a non-contact injury very early in the game. 2025 looks to be another year of bad year for injuries for them. Is Shanahan just unlucky or is there something that he or the organization does that results in so many injuries? Quote
Gregg Posted September 23 Posted September 23 LB Quincy Williams (shoulder) will be placed on IR, per source. Means he will miss at least 4 games. #Jets — Rich Cimini (@RichCimini) September 23, 2025 Quote
