Strong has played better than I thought.  I would be curious if they move him to safety after Hairston returns.  He's a very heady player and the type that I think would excel at Safety.  How good is that draft class going to look at the bottom of it.  With Strong, Walker and Hawes. Now we need Landon Jackson and Hairston to step into their roles.

It's hilarious because that's the one part of the game my wife watched. She wasn't paying that much attention and all the sudden they just talk about him beating up women?

What absolutely hate more than anything is when they bring up charges that were dropped/dismissed already.

Why? Screw that scumbag. It all happened, and should follow him around.

Of course, I understand this sentiment. It only matters when there is a conviction. However, we should listen to famous words that says judge not lest ye be judged.

So while we know that Tyreek Hill is not someone we'd want to have around the people in our lives, we have no place to judge or decide what happened or did not happen.

At the same time, if this would have happened to my daughter he would not be above ground.

I was watching all-22 and there are two plays on defense I am curious about. I'll tag @GunnerBill and @HappyDays but appreciate comment from anyone with access to all-22 and understanding of the game :)

Q1 12:56 1st&10 at BUF 36 - Pass to Achane close to LOS. He is completely open (nobody within 15yards) with a blocker ahead and it results in 15y gain. What kind of defense do we play and what happened? It seems to me that Bernard is spying on Tua and I guess that is is somehow Taron's responsibility to be there/closer but I don't know.

Q2 2:40 3rd&12 at MIA 40 - this is the play where Tre blitzes and completely misses Tua who scrambles and then finds open Hill. I guess this was zone defense since Benford is on Hill when the play starts but then just lets him go when Hill cuts to the middle. Bernard is in the zone but he runs with another Dolphins WR. Who should be covering Hill?

That's a fine and dandy sentiment except we all know that money and celebrity mean more in the justice system than actual justice. So charges being dropped or even acquitted doesnt do much for me in cases like Hill's.

Especially with his pattern of behavior. This isnt a one-off incident that is weird and out of character. This IS his character.

Sometimes I just want to be naive and pretend but it's not really the case, living in an ignorant bliss , 😕

The second is easier than the first... that was just good crafty receiver play by a vet receiver who manages to find the spot in the zone to be available to his QB. Technically (and I haven't got my ipad with me so scrolling to the right play in the all22 on my phone is a B word) I think the safety is the responsible guy but I think the Bills played that reasonably well. Tua and Hill just made a play, give them credit.

On the first - again without the benefit of the all22 in a lot of what the Bills run, yes Bernard would have responsibility for the running back. I can't remember the play to know if I think he was legit spying Tua but that would feel an odd choice if he was.

Thanks. When you have a chance, please check all-22. That Hill catch ok I agree he really found a spot, there are like 5 Bills players relatively close but everybody seems to be covering someone else. Bishop is close to sideline since he initially covers someone else then passes him to Rapp.

The other one I am really interested in since that is not a scramble and there is literally no one within Achane and his blocker. Either Taron of Bernard had to misplay their duties or there is some serious flaw in the play design lol. It starts at 2.18 mark on All-22 on DAZN btw.

That one was the play where Tua faked a screen pass to Ingold on his right and then Achane leaked out to his left. Tua stared down Ingold and defense all bit on the fake. That's why he was so open. Here is the key moment in that play.

My thoughts from attending the game, in chronological order. Took my dad for his 80th.

1. Tre White got the biggest cheer out of the tunnel. And I thought he had a decent game. Got beat a couple times but so did the rest of the D.

2. Huge hit by Shaq got us all screaming. Nice to see him with such energy.

3. Kincaid block on the Shakir touchdown popped. Dude is rounding out his game.

4. Bernard interception stadium erupted! Obviously the biggest play of the game, also let all the angst the collective group was feeling out. The party was on.

5. Mr. Brightside after Elijah Moores catch and run. I don’t care if it’s cheesy, it’s so fun to scream the lyrics. The party continues!

6. McDermott’s call for a field goal was the right call even if Prater had missed. Mc D’s decision making has been good. Leaning aggressive which is right where he needs to be with this offense.

Crowd was positive and happy. So many high fives all around.

The most disappointing part of this game was the pass rush.   To anyone that’s going to blame Miami’s quick passing attack - Tua’s average time to throw was 2.74 seconds - the most since 2023.  His career is 2.43 seconds.

The Bills just weren’t getting home.  They actually hit Tua just one time the entire game.

Hoecht and Ogunjobi will help displace Javon Solomon and TJ Sanders respectively.  That should be an improvement in both run and pass rush.  Walker will rotate and TJ Sanders will sit the bench with Landon Jackson.

I'm glad we didn't run up the score against a division rival for reasons of karma. I got the impression we were playing with our food

We were playing with our food in the first half. But when they missed that FG, it was "game on."

Placing judgment on a vile mans behavior  is acceptable .  The best predictor of future behavior is relevant past behavior.

he's a scumbag and he isn't alone in that. There are plenty of women beaters  in society. Cowardly bullies all

Yeah but we came pretty close to throwing the game away last night.  We come out hard first couple drives then get cute for the next 30 minutes of gametime.  That's not going to work against better teams, we dont get to play the Jets and Dolphins every week

Buffalo is 2nd in points. The team they beat Baltimore is 1st. I’m not sure what more people want? It’s actually getting on my nerves. We’ve seen historical levels of offense and people still complain.

You're not bringing up the Chiefs as an exception here though, right?  Because we've done it against them too, and it's kept us out of at least 2 super bowls.  It's a flaw in our coaching philosophy

Injuries in the playoffs against KC kept us out of the SB in 2024.

So I'm writing this from a hotel as I get ready to head back to California from my first visit to Orchard Park.

I had a pretty memorable few days and my visit could not have better. So I'll share some thoughts about my visit and the game.

I got in on Wednesday, air b and b was a really beautiful cozy house about 2 miles away from the stadium. After a long day of travel, wanted to go get groceries and have wings. Ended up going to Wegman's, picking up some Josh Allen Cereal, a ton of reusable Bills grocery bags, and oh yeah, a little bit of breakfast stuff for the house. Went to Duffs afterwards and had a Weck and Wings. Even managed to pick the right spice level.

Thursday morning I went to the team store and bought a TON of gear. I can't really get it anywhere else, but I probably won't need too much when I come next year to go to new Highmark.

Ended up getting Stevie Johnson's autograph before the game. Really nice dude and I couldn't belive he was the one signing. My mom also surprised me with a couple of mystery autographed jerseys, which a were a red James Cook and a Villanova Christian Benford jersey. Good scores there. Overall, crowd rocked and the stadium was loud as hell the entire game. I was in the Pepsi club in 212 and the seats were amazing.

I managed to catch a replay of the 4th quarter on NFL Network. Watching the prime vision, the Dolphins were really rotating 2 and 3 deep looks to keep the Bills underneath. The Shakir touchdown on the orbit motion was against a 2 deep man look where they schemed blockers for him and he bear the safety. The most impressive play I saw on rewatch besides the pick was the 2nd and 16 throw to Elijah Moore. Found a hole underneath the cover 3 and picked up a first down. Still looks like teams are prioritizing stopping deep pass, and Buffalo is making them pay.

Spent today at Niagra Falls. Really beautiful place, got a chance to do the maid of the mist and the cave of the winds.  The hurricane deck was really really cool.

I fly back in the morning, but thanks for listening to me ramble...

I'm glad you had such a good time in your first visit to Bills Country!

If you know that a person is someone you wouldn't want to be around your loved ones, you've already judged that person and found his/her behavior/character unacceptable.   If someone is unacceptable to be around your child because of his/her own behavior, then he/she is just as unacceptable to be around everyone's children.   We are all our brothers' keepers.

Sounds like a classic Beane class. The Bills are one of the best day 3 drafting teams in football which as I jave said before is testament to their road scouts. Because day 3 is where you get to guys that the GM and Assistant GM have probably watched relatively little of. The scout evaluations count for much more.
