A great comment by Romo and it’s so true. Yesterday, it was like watching a cat play with a little mouse as a toy until the cat got hungry. Holy smokes if you are a Jets fan. I mean, we’ve been there through the drought but man, talk about pure domination.

 

The stats with this team the past 5 years are unreal. 2nd best record in NFL, leads the league in least amount of turnovers, and others.

 

I’m guilty. I have not appreciated this team enough and just want to make sure I don’t blink per se because this is a time we won’t ever forget. What a great era of Buffalo Bills football, and I truly hope we get at least ONE. Anything short of a Super Bowl through out this run would be an outright MAJOR disappointment.

 

O, and btw…James COOK was worth every penny.

I agree, the people I was watching with compared it to osu vs OU (it’s referred to here as OU not “Ohio”) from the day before. Like oh it’s cute how this other team thinks they can compete and it’s admirable that they made some plays but ultimately the Bills could have won with their backups

The last time the Network had a word with Tony Romo it turned a refreshing, honest, detailed new color guy and turned him into a shreiking, cliche ridden, opinionless identikit broadcaster who wouldn't sound out of place on Fox's D crew.

Romo went on to say he loves that level of football because that's the kind of league he was in.  So he was not disparaging MTSU.

Yes, it was Nantz that brought up MTSU. The title of this thread should really be changed because it is not a Romo quote.

I honestly thought he did it on purpose. The way he swung his arm in and knifed his hand to make sure his hand got through the face mask for maximum damage.

I had heard this as well, not going to look for a link but I do remember reading that CBS didn't like him saying ahead of time what the play was likely to be based on what he was seeing. Since that change, he's been pretty awful.

YES, they are bad.  They use all the preplanned inserts to tell "story lines".  But, they don't call the game for the fans.  Who got hurt...the wide reciever, didn't know his name.  At least get those guys some spotters to feed them the names.  Who go hurt?l  NO coverage if it isn't a QB.  Who subbed in?  Never mentioned.  The NFL broadcast are now canned in format, and must be trying to appeal to folks that are not football fans.

Agree. Just look at this game as an example. There’s a thread on here about Milano getting hurt. They didn’t even mention it. People wonder why the game was boring? It’s partly because the announcers did a terrible job of keeping anyone the slightest bit interested. Really bad broadcasting.

At least the Bills were always kind of competitive before losing eventually during the drought. The Jets are a whole new level of awful
