that was the texans game, imo. if we hadn't got slapped by the ravens and lost our composure we would have won. we started slow and shell shocked from the ravens.

the rams was just outmatched but we should have won. that was a fair loss.

Texans were a good team last year though. Top 5 defense.

100%. Adulthood is coming to grips with the fact that you as a fan have absolutely no bearing on the course of the game. This is also why I don't get overly upset anymore when they loose, cause it's not like it's my fault!

Speak for yourself.. the way I angle myself on the couch has a 90-95% correlation with the success of this team.

ravens was lousy but the texans was an egg. they had just been curb stomped by baltimore than came out weak with no energy.

The Texans were a solid team last year and that was an away game. Also toss in the fact that this game was when the Bills WR core was still struggling (I know Cooper wasn't a massive add stats wise but his presence was something teams respected) and I think you very clearly see the loss of that game. The Bills were effectively 13-3 last year and likely could have been 14-3 had they needed that last game for seeding.

The 3 losses they had when playing starters were all against playoff teams away. All 3 teams made the divisional round as well. Not a single egg laid last season which is why the team had the Chiefs not been insanely lucky in one score games should have been in play for the one seed.

Houston comes to mind, maybe since I was there.

That was a dreadful performance from start to finish.  One of Allen's worst games as a pro.  Our offense was completely exposed that game.  I believe Mack Hollins was our most targeted receiver.

Yep! Hollins seemed like the focal point of the passing game that day. Mostly because Shakir got hurt the week before and Coleman was 4 games in to his career. Allen’s performance that day reminded me of the infamous Jax loss in Jax. I was at both those games! If I hadn’t made a vow to my cousin to see the Bills in every stadium, I’d stop going to away games.

Good ol' #5 Jalen Ramsey is a recent example. Had some not terribly cryptic comments about coaching/McDaniel upon being traded to Pitt. I'm sure there are others. I mean, we all saw Hard Knocks. We all know how "football people" and pundits talk about him. He's not secretly beloved by his guys and the rest of us have it wrong.

LOL actually I didn't see Hard Knocks
Ramsey I grant, but hasn't he a history of being "the disaffected" everywhere he's gone?

IDK, I hear Sexy Rexy coming for McDaniel and calling him "nerd boy" but it's hard for me to take him too seriously.  I mean, Rex himself should know a team that lacks physicality and doesn't play with passion?

Personally my take is "Vitamin W deficiency" and I just hope they don't get a dose on us.

Not unfriendly in the least. No worries.

And yeah, if the comparable RAS scores mean anything, Hancock’s athleticism is far superior. But we all know that doesn’t mean much if he can’t come close to Micah’s mastery of the cerebral aspects of the position which, again, is paramount in McD’s scheme of things. Looking forward to seeing Hancock put it all together eventually.

Micah's strengths weren't confined to the mental game. When he intercepted Mac Jones in the playoff game against New England, he covered 21.4 yards in 2.9 seconds.

I don’t think I came anywhere close to suggesting otherwise. Micah had all the tools required, both physical and mental.
