Coleman IS the type of guy Allen will thrive with on the boundary

Allen is immaculate outside the numbers and that's where colemans game starts... He gonna be a boundary nightmare now that he is really selling the go route

All of his comebacks and hitches are going to be easy money

I wouldn't say it was a bad pass from Josh. That ball was headed right for an open Shakir. Knox tipped it before it got there. We will never know if Shakir would have caught that pass or not.

I didn’t say it was a bad pass.  It just wasn’t a great pass.  Maybe it was….but you’re right, we’ll never know.  Either way, Keon came up HUGE to save the game

Feels like it’s been years since we’ve seen this from anybody. Probably goes back to Diggs tbh

Totally agree, spot on!  And Allen and this offense have never executed that fade well to begin with, I would understand it more if we converted it at a high rate, but we don't, its the opposite.  I hate that play every time the call it, and they even used to call it a lot with Diggs who wasn't even a big target.

We also went from a great down and short team to a total trainwreck in down and short.  I feel like because the Bills were so vocal and against the tush push they have decided they can't run it anymore and bastardized it in the AFCCG (worst version of it I have ever seen and nothing like we had been running it a high success rate previously) and we have even further gone away from it this year already.  So much so, on the goal line Allen had to over the top and put the ball at risk to get the TD.

The biggest offensive issue we had on Sunday was our many bad calls on 3rd and short and our 2 PT tries.  Its mind blowing how often they take away all of Allens strengths in these situations with bad play calls or poorly designed plays like our bastardized QB sneak now that went from a never fail attempt to now never works.

as silly as it sounds - one of Brady’s special traits was keeping drives alive in these situations with a remarkable conversion percentage in short yardage.

we have a small sample size of production in 2025 to accurately judge how successful he will be in a Bills uniform THIS season. WE need more data

What I expect from Mr Coleman is for he  to catch the ball consistently

Period

If his separation is not elite then he will need to be utilized in a way that accentuates his strengths,

which is just what Josh Allen will do

That's what I think. He has a place in this offense and I hope he kills it

yeah I Probably don't want to know. what a strange comment

SMH forget it . If you don't think the Bills will game plan plays in which he can be successful that's on you not me .

Basically the Bills offense just exhausted the Ravens defense with small gains and clock control and by the 4th quarter it became exponentially easier for the Bills WR's to get open.  IMO the Bills WR corps is still the weakest part of the team.   If the offense can roll up nearly 80 offensive plays and 35-40 minutes time of possession every week like they just did against the Ravens the WR have the potential to look a lot better in those last 20 or so plays.    I mean, give me the front 7 equivalent to the dominant impact that Josh Allen has for these receivers and Taylor Rapp, Cole Bishop and Damar Hamlin would look like world beaters.   They are closer to the norm than the WR corps.

That said.....I am bullish on Keon.   I've said all along that he has the physical talent to reach Davante Adams level.    He went into the offseason needing to show the focus, work ethic and want-to to be great.   He seems to be doing that.

The next and most important step is exhibiting the intelligence to become a great technician so he doesn't have to be schemed open against quicker/faster CB's.   That's the hardest part.

And when you have a truly great QB like Coleman has with Allen.........like Adams had with Rodgers.........that can create a ton of momentum.   He should be able to see that the full commitment should yield maximum results.

Let's hope that Jets DC Wilks emphasizes this and it makes Shakir and Palmer available for a big game.

Then one of them can be considered "a strong 2" also.

That's my hope for this WR room.

Side note:  Wilks was McDermotts DB coach in Carolina for 5 years.  Maybe Sean can give Brady some tendency tips.

maybe to bolded.. and i agree lol

I get what you’re saying but personally I don’t think I’ll ever care about the Worthy/Coleman comparisons. They’re such extremely different players with such extremely different skill sets they might as well be playing different positions.

404, agreed two different toes of WR’s is unfair as one can argue whichever position that reflects their interests.  The reality is both guys have done some unique things, and thus worked out for both teams.  McBeane and Josh wanted Coleman.  He had a good first game this year, and Worthy had some excellent plays for the Chiefs last year.

One game doesn’t make a career, but a couple things I liked was his improved strength, his cuts for YAC, and his ability to get over the defenders.
