(Not sure why I said that, I’ll thank you again after you post it). Ciarlo is a football player, good instincts. Not sure he has NFL roster physical talent but definitely knows how to play the game. Ditto on Frank Gore Jr., may not ever make a 53 man roster to begin a season but will likely be a practice squad mainstay. Shavers' one-handed TD grab was sick, worth trying to find a highlight clip of. Some good plays from Walker, and Bishop looked solid early. Buccs' TD celebration was elite, handspring into full flip. Very impressive. Shenault with some major ST errors, which you don't like to see. Hardy abused by fellow likely cut candidates. Carter a non-factor against same. Dane Jackson does not stand out physically against backups, he knows the system but if he's anywhere near a starting slot due to injury we're in trouble for that game. Quote

Shavers made a circus TD catch. thanks!! Great to hear coverage looked better (couldn’t look much worse I guess). I’ll need to search for the Shavers TD on YouTube. Fearless. 20 - His improvement from last year to this year is crazy. 80 - WR4. Nuff said 19 - Made a case to be the WR5 29 - Good returns 35 - Was just everywhere. Maybe still more P-Squad level, but made plays. 36 - Was apparently signed today and actually made some positive impact. 24 - Laid some hits. Low 18 - Same old. Drops, low impact 1 - Missed game due to illness. 15 - Little impact at WR but made some big 'teams mistakes. 23 - He's had a rough preseason 90 - Not sure if he even played 40 - The whole sick thing is weird. 2 Quote

Agree on all but Moore and Dane. Moore looked fine though not spectacular. Dane overall had a good night out there. Not sure if you confused him with 33. Quote

I actually agree about Dane looking rough, with the amount of experience he has in the league you would hope for a better showing from him against edge-of-roster or non-roster talent. He looked like he belonged and made a couple of "NFL" plays, which is... NOT quite what you want from a dude a couple injuries away from a start when he's up against well-below-starter talent. Nitro Posted Sunday at 03:12 AM Posted Sunday at 03:12 AM This was a good way for many guys to show their skills. Some it will be their last time in a NFL uniform. It was an enjoyable game. 1 Quote

Ciarlo and Gore Jr seem like good PS guys. You need some "try hard" high character guys on the PS and if they make the roster they will be likely in niche and reserve roles that they might not be completely be in over their heads but clearly aren't full time NFL players. 1 Quote

Honestly, I don’t think Gore Jr. is a try hard player. On a different team I think he is the #3 RB. 1 Quote

Gave up a big pass but was in coverage on several 3rd downs where we stopped them and forced the fumble that Ciarlo recovered. Not sure what the future holds for him Hollis Jr or Strong but I like that we have some young guys and honestly I didn't see anything from Dane that made me think he beats them all out. They probably just "trust" Dane more but honestly he's done nothing in the preseason worth puting on a resume. Quote

I do completely agree on Dane and Andy’s point. This hasn’t been even a remotely decent preseason for him. Thought he’d adjust and show some bright spots periodically throughout time on the field but it’s overwhelmingly been poor. I also wonder how to your one point, how much trust you can have when he already, at a base line level, had a leg up on the younger guys brought in. Edited Sunday at 03:24 AM by Sojourner Quote
