So my question is… how much does a player like this make for the couple weeks he’s here, prior to the cuts? Surely, he knows the drill just as you laid out. He knows that’s the only reason he’s here as well. Now… maybe he’s hoping he can play really good in the preseason game and another team sees this film and he can latch on somewhere in any capacity?? But in all likelihood, he’s signed on for a few weeks of work and a paycheck. I just wonder what that is? Quote

The team must also provide free food and housing. Not sure how they set up the housing aspect. The pitch by the team for someone like this is we'll give you an opportunity to show what you've got on film. Could lead to a practice squad spot somewhere in the league. 1 Quote
