BigAl2526 Posted August 8 Posted August 8 New Kicker-Caden Davis Ray Davis might still kick a bit vs Giants. 2 1 Quote
richNjoisy Posted August 8 Posted August 8 I know there is understandable concern among fans that Bass might not be ready for opening day but it seems to me if this was a real threat the Bills would be signing someone more established than this kid. They have been using the jugs machine mostly at camp, and yes, Davis a bit. Again, my expectation is the diagnosis is such that Bass will be ready before opening day. Quote

PetermansRedemption Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Anyone know how Bass has been doing in camp? Is there any chance at all this guy steals the job? Quote

He's been out with "pelvic soreness" which could be any number of things. What I know is he's going to have to kick before week 1 and look back to normal. I also suspect we will carry a kicker on the PS even if Bass is ready for week 1. Quote

He kicks a ball 30 times a day for a living, how the heck does he get injured 😆 1 2 Quote

Overuse, hernias, general wear and tear of moving parts. Honestly, we haven't talked about this enough and the Bills have been very cagey about what's actually wrong. 2 1 Quote

BigAl2526 Posted August 8 Author Posted August 8 The biggest knock against Davis is that he's relatively new to the game of football. That means more likelihood of some upside to me. Perhaps he can improve on his accuracy. Quote

HOUSE Posted August 8 Posted August 8 This is why the Bills are always broke. We sign scrub kickers, pay big bucks than waive after one preseason game. Quote
ALLinALLEN Posted August 8 Posted August 8 Fingers crossed he nuts like 4 from 50+. Would make things interesting. 1 Quote
