So those 3 are a given. Elijah Moore I could take an argument on because there is a reason he is bouncing around the league but production wise has more in the book. And Keon I could take an argument on too, I didn't like him or Dotson particularly coming out but his rookie season he had more yards than Dotson has ever managed. So yea, I think the Bills 1-5 would probably all be the 3 in Philly. Wide Receiver is actually one position Howie Roseman has not drafted particularly well aside from Devonta Smith who was a slam dunk (although I think they traded up a spot or two to get him so credit for that). Dotson and Samuel were teammates for two years and dotson averaged more yards/game and y/r plus more TDs just fyi Quote

Some of that is usage granted. I don't think Samuel is very good either so I wouldn't have a big fight about it, but Dotson is a bust and he is out of excuses. Quote

There’s this misconception that because the offense scored a lot of points, they were good everywhere. It’s beating a dead horse at this point but the receivers were not good. They blocked well and ran after the catch well. They were rarely open especially as they got further down the field. I think Samuel will bounce back. Moore and Palmer seem to be solid additions (I think Moore emerges as one of the people that Josh trusts most). This group is better than last year but that’s not a high bar despite the points that they scored. We shouldn’t expect a historic level of negative plays again. That will regress some. Hopefully the upgrades at WR will offset any regression. They’re still a bottom 5-8 group but have strong depth. If you ever injected a number 1 WR, the group would be good. They added a couple of guys that can get open which they did not have last year (hence all the screens). The offense should have more ways to beat you this year. 2 Quote

This is a really good point. Beane is a gambler. He is banking on Allen continuing to take care of the ball and it could bite him or it could reward him. It’s very similar to how he hedged his bet that Gabe would build off his playoff game against the chiefs. That didn’t happen, and we were in trouble at the position for a while. I just hope he’s right this time or it’s gonna be a LONG season of answering questions for one Brandon Beane. 1 Quote
Nephilim17 Posted July 17 Posted July 17 Yes, we don't have a true number one. Yes, the rest of the fanbase and I would like one. Yes, I think we have a better WR room than 2024. Quote

There are multiple teams where, if they had Josh Allen, they would lose somewhere between 0-2 games per season. 2 Quote
