This leaves Stephon Gilmore and Robert Woods as the last remaining pre-McDermott era draft picks still in the league

Isn’t Marquise Goodwin still playing?

He got a ring with Philly as well.. made his mind up at Kentucky Darby...

Kentucky Darby?  I see what you did there...

I actually saw Darby doing some football analysis on the Up and Adams show with Kay Adams a couple of weeks ago. Trying his hand as an analyst/pod caster is my guess.

Was Darby not a culture fit?  I cant remember anything from then.  Or was that a scheme fit thing? The Sammy trade at the time was bigger news to most.  Was he traded after only his rookie year here?

Darby was a man cover CB and not skilled in McD's zone coverage game.  Darby was not with the program and got dealt away quickly.

Once McDermott took over, Darby was facing extinction.

He hopped in his infamous Bentley and headed to the Eagles.  This was actually somewhat of a homecoming for Darby as Philly is less than an hour from his hometown of Hamby, Maryland.
