Yeah , I can't see both Trubisky and White making the team.

I would think the Bills will get some kind of veteran CB whether it's re-signing Rasul or adding another 1, it would be a bit mind boggling for us to go into the season with a rookie playing opposite Benford.

Good call!

Updated for Tre White.

Net of the suspensions there are 52 jobs currently spoken for.  The Bills have 10 draft picks at their disposal starting Thursday.  Not sure how they fit 10 draftees on the roster.

Guys I currently have listed who may end up on the wrong side of the cut line to make room for draft picks are White (QB), Green (OL), Spector (LB), Shenault (WR), Davidson (TE), Dane Jackson (CB), Ingram (CB), Codrington (KR/CB), Hamlin (S), Andreessen (LB), and Van Denmark (OL).

I feel like when the smoke clears there'll be a turnover of about 10 spots from last year.

BTW, thanks very much for doing this. 👍

sounds about right for the 53 man roster.  These are SURE locks for the 2025 roster

Offense  (17) -  Allen,  Cook, Davis, Johnson, Gilliam,  Coleman, Shakir, Samuel,  Palmer,  Kincaid, Knox, Dawkins, Edwards, McGovern, Torrence, Brown, Anderson

Defense (16). -  Rosseau, Bosa, Epenesa, Hoecht, Solomon, Jones, Oliver,  Carter, Milano, Bernard, Williams, Benford, Johnson, Lewis, Bishop, Rapp.

ST (2) -  Bass, Ferguson

Some of the backups are possibly locks for this roster..but they are not sure thing...

We will have 8-10 new draft picks, a. few UDFA and the new FA signings...will end up about 15 new people in the roster.

I'm thinking Ingram isn't safe. Seems like he should have been playing in the playoff game instead of Elam but I didn't see him in there. I don't remember if he was injured but I didn't think he was.

Not that this is a surprise, but a good year from Hairston would make a huge difference.  Improvement from last year's top 2 picks would also be very welcome.

I'm going to assume he's going to be at least serviceable.  Need a defensive pick to be good and we'll have a superbowl shot.  Lots of good teams in the afc though.

I have Ingram on the team because I think he’s the primary backup at slot corner.  He is also a key special teams player, especially if Lewis is cut.  Last year Morris, Gilliam, Ingram and Lewis were our special teams snap leaders. Morris is already gone.  I don’t think Beane is going to part with both Lewis and Ingram.

When I did my draft review I came away more impressed with the Lundt pick.  I wonder if it could come down to Lindt vs Ingram for the 53rd roster spot. If Lundt has a good camp Beane may worry he won’t be able to sneak him onto the PS.

This is how I see it early on. Biggest battles are Lundt vs RVD, Shenault vs Codrington,

Hamlin vs Forrest vs Ingram. I think this one really comes down to where they see Hancock initially. If they list him as a Nickle then Ingram is probably gone and they keep both Forrest and Hamlin. If Hancock is a safety, Ingram stays and Forrest / Hamlin are battling .

I have both Shavers and Shenault making it but both would be at risk when Ogunjobi/Hoecht returns

How did Taron Johnson lose his job? Van Denmark can certainly be a trade candidate.

Ok, that makes some sense with Ingram, but I still think he still is in danger.

I think Beane will try to flip those Olineman for day 3 picks as he has in the past. I call it the Beane comp pick. Seemed like Grable was preferred over VanDemark last year, I think I remember Grable was active while VanDemark sat so Lundt could take VanDemark's spot.

I came here to say one thing, but now I have two:

First, thanks to @GASabresIUFan for doing this. It's fabulous.  And thanks to the contributors here. I've just started looking through the thread, and there's really a lot of good discussion about particular positions and players. Great stuff!!!

Second, I didn't want to start a new thread to say this, and this seemed like a good place to say it:  I'm quietly excited about this team. All over the roster. Safety troubles me some, and the linebacking feels a bit thin, but both the defensive line and corner back depth looks to be exceptional. I think we'll see some high level play out of the defense this season.

Offense has talent and depth on the offensive line (someone suggests Lundt will get cut, but he apparently is a talented and exceptionally motivated guy). Running back room is unchanged, and if it produces as well as last season, that's great. Receiving corps got the job done last season, and it seems to be upgraded nicely, with Palmer replacing the shoeless wonder and now Moore added to the mix.  You know your team is good when an item worth discussing here is why an unknown quarterback will make the practice squad because his wife is a good social organizing force among the players' wives!

As I said, I'm quietly excited.

Ingram is a core special teamer, and decent cornerback, and he can hit.  Moore can help with returns probably. But we need ST coverage.  Mack was 5th WR last year, and on 4 ST units.  Those reps need to be replaced.   So Ingram is close to a lock IMO

Otherwise Great jobs projecting the roster!  Pretty spot on.  There will be a half dozen+ quality players cut.  There is a severe shortage of competent OL league wide.  RVM, AJ, a few possible trade?  DE, DT, CB, S are all fat now- they all will have tough camp battles, high stakes.

Bills roster looks rock solid!  Bills Defense is going to rock! Bills Offense is going to rock!
